I think Agent should get first crack at a team unless one of the dead teams comes up to pick before he returns and picks a team. Also, I am keeping marvinisalunatic with Baltimore unless he expressly says he is out. He gave up Oakland when he originally had them and he waited around for about two and a half weeks before his first pick. So Baltimore is his until he says so.

I think someone would offer up their second round pick next year for him. I would go no higher than a third and that is only if I expected to be drafting in the bottom half next year.

I would be shocked if the NCAA did not allow Mike Williams back in school if that is the final verdict. A team could make out like bandits, though, if they go through with the supplemental draft. Take a team that should be good next year (coughEaglescough). They can bid next year's first round pick on him and have a good shot to get him. So in essence they get Mike Williams, a possible top 10 pick this year, for a low first round pick next year. I would be interested to see how much people would be willing to risk, would a team like the Chargers or Lions be willing to risk next year's first round pick (which should be a high pick) on him?

I find it funny, that with the way Citizen's Bank Park plays David Bell is looking like he could hit 30 HRs this year in that place. If Thome was right handed he could hit at least 60 the way it is looking.

Rumors were kicking around on the local sports radio that the Eagles were going to trade up into the 49ers spot, everyone assumes they would target one of the two Miami LBs. The rumor is John Welbourn and a pick for the 16th spot. I don't like that trade if the pick is the first rounder. Jermaine Mayberry is in his contract season, plus when healthy a case can be made that Welbourn has been their best offensive lineman. I would much rather have Welbourn and whoever I could get at 28, then one of the two Miami LBs.
