  1. I missed it - what was Jerri saying going off on how entertainment has exploited them? That seemed like something CBS didn't want her to say. EDIT: Ha! She left. Awesome.
  2. If this was wrestling we'd get Lex vs. Mariano in a cage, with Amber slamming the door on Rob's head and turning on him.
  3. That was pretty predictable. The only votes they didn't show were Lex, Shi, and Rupert. Lex and Shi were obviously going to vote for Amber. So what's the twist, the audience gets to vote to give someone else a million or something?
  4. Well he was a heel, so it wasn't a turn...but I don't think they ever explained why he was with Coach.
  5. Wow. This was a predictable and boring season of Survivor.
  6. Is it still going to be called IWA-MS? Or NWA Indiana? And can they not do the deathmatch stuff because they're going to be part of the NWA, or is that a separate decision?
  7. It's not quite fair to say that there were NO great matches during that time period. Hart/Bulldog at Summerslam 1992...Savage Steamboat at WM5...there's more than a handful.
  8. Was Steve Austin really booked to win the title at the Final Four match, but the end had to be changed when he got hurt?
  9. I know Frankie Kazarian and Alex Shelley use that as a finisher...don't know when they started, though. How about holding a guy in front of you and doing a lionsault while you hold him so you land right on him? That'd be pretty tough to do. Whenever Rock/Angle wrestled, I wanted to see Rock go for the People's Elbow, and Angle grab his ankle as he kicked up before dropping the elbow and hooking the anklelock. But then Rock/Jericho did something like this at No Mercy 2001.
  10. Sounds like another great show. Surprised Homicide went over Hero, though...couldn't Hero use a big win going into his feud with Joe?
  11. Post results when you can!
  12. I love ROH, but I must be one of the VERY few who didn't like MSE as much as everyone else I can't wait to see the first two from 2004, though. I also like Tradition Continues simply for the fourway, Joe/Briscoe, and Styles/Punk. And shit, now I want to see Empire State Showdown.
  13. Yeah, that's what I said about Armageddon's last year, No Way Out and Backlash this year and look what happened there. The worst is frickin' Shane getting the cover of the Survivor Series poster.
  14. "Rico going for a kiss on London! This is GREAT, Bill!!!!"
  15. On Velocity they mentioned that Orlando Jordan was the son of a minister...I sense a gimmick coming up...
  16. Yeah, this pretty much says it all right here. Scramble Madness is also a pretty decent 2002 show if you want to pick up another cheap one. But the mid-late 2003 stuff has been great, and I can't wait to see the first two shows from 2004.
  17. "Nathan Jones" "John Heidenreich" In today's WWE, it's not as easy to get over if you're new & devoid of talent. You can probably add Matt Morgan to that list. Not that he doesn't have talent...but he's still WAY too green.
  18. Jordan vs. Akio now. Poor Yang is a big jobber, and it seems like Sakoda never even wrestles.
  19. Honor Invades Boston has two great matches - AJ Styles and Low Ki is about ***1/2 - ***3/4 IMO (I liked other matches they've have better) Jay vs. Mark Briscoe is probably ****-****1/4. Not much else that I remember. Unscripted has a great streetfight between Michael Shane and Paul London, and a few fun tag team matches with Daniels and Modest, Idaka and Togo, and Modest and Amdrag. Lots of reviews at 411 and other places, too.
  20. I taped Velocity and I'm watching it now... Jindrak has the robe now? He's a COMPLETE ripoff of Luger now? Wow.
  21. You fucker.
  22. Yeah...I was so excited about the DVD's I forgot about RF until after I ordered. I really hope the promotion gains from the DVD's I bought, and not him.
  23. Well what the hell, are they going to bring in Chyna? Nicole Bass? Just not worth the money, Ian! The show sounds pretty fun. I'm guessing Aries vs. Red and the tag team qualifier were the matches to see. And if they announced that this years KOTDM will be the last one ever, it might piss off some of the hardcore fanbase, wouldn't you think? I wouldn't care, and I could see why they wouldn't want to do it, but there might be some backlash from the blood and gore lovers...at least you'd think.
  24. Someone posted on here before that Vengeance was going to be a RAW PPV and that Unforgiven or No Mercy (can't remember) would be SD. I wrote to Meltzer to ask, but he didn't know yet either. We should know when tickets go on sale, though.
  25. A nip up right into an Evenflow DDT.
