  1. Yeah, these matches, the Vengeance match, and Raven/Benoit/DDP from WCW are my picks.
  2. Agreed. I'm pissed UND lost today, but Denver just shut them down and their goalie played great. UMD/UMN vs. Maine in the finals is my pick.
  3. Ludvig Borga = badass Finnish dork.
  4. Not a fan of the older stuff, Choken? You gotta love Wrestlemania 10...or even 3. King of the Ring 93 rocks it, and Hogan jobs! Survivor Series 96 has two great matches and two very good matches.
  5. King of the Ring 95 > everything
  6. Frozen four so far: Maine (over Wisconsin in OT) Denver (over UND 1-0) Sunday's games: BC vs. Michigan Minnesota vs. Minnesota-Duluth
  7. Sounds like a great show - IWA-MS keeps putting on great shows.
  8. They just wanted to cut out some of the crap and put out a bit shorter version for a lower price. Get the full stuff at rfvideo.com - trust me, the shows are worth it.
  9. ...who were on a winning team at Survivor Series 87, as was JIM BRUZNELL...
  10. Man, now you're just gonna get ripped on. That sucks.
  11. So how was Velocity?
  12. ...who wrestled BULL NAKANO many times...
  13. Maybe he's going to be a part of the roster soon?
  14. I think he was an alkie.
  15. I don't know, man...I don't think they can last _that_ long just on weekly PPVs...they _desperately_ need TV, and if they only had 2 taping dates a month plus one PPV it wouldn't be _that_ bad... I forgot if I read this or not, but would the FSN show be 1 or 2 hours?
  16. Shane doesn't like the cruiserweights... Big shocker!
  17. I really hope they get the TV deal, because more wrestling on TV = good thing.
  18. What was Mr. Hughes' finisher called? He whipped his opponent off the ropes and hit a Bossman Slam / Chokeslam kind of thing on them. And how did Sgt. Slaughter turn face after his heel run in the WWF?
  19. I've been watching a tape of some RAW's from 1993, and the Steiners are like this in every match against jobbers. Sure, they're facing jobbers...but not one jobber team ever has gotten in ONE MOVE on the Steiners. They stiff the shit so bad out of the jobbers they're almost heels...but the crowd loves every minute of it. Last match I watched, Scott busted out a _SICK_ Orange Crush Piledriver that could have broken the guy's neck. Wow. It just amazes me how they got away with this.

They broke up not too long after SummerSlam 2001 (I think?) which led up the atrocious Undertaker-Kane / Kronik match at Unforgiven. Yeah, but I considered the RTC was good and dead when Steven was managing a pair of guys whose gimmicks were based on pot references. EDIT: I called Kronik "wrestlers." My bad. Off topic, sorry, but I never saw the infamous Kronik-B.O.D. match. Can someone describe it? Sloppy, and really _REALLY_ boring. Really, _REALLY_ slow. I don't know how else to describe it.

They broke up not too long after SummerSlam 2001 (I think?) which led up the atrocious Undertaker-Kane / Kronik match at Unforgiven. I think RTC broke up back in April 2001. At a Smackdown I went to, I remember them breaking out in a brawl after an Ivory/Chyna Women's title match (last time I saw Chyna in person...*sniffles* ). They got back together for the next Raw, but then ended up fighting again. Stevie blamed Undertaker for it somehow. How different do you think WWE would've been had they given RTC a run as top heel group in 2000? It probably would've freshened things up a bit (getting away from the wrestler vs owner storylines) and I think RTC had the heat to pull it off. I actually got tired of the RTC quite quickly.
  22. I hope they don't bury him. He's a good talent. Hopefully he can work on his mic skills or even get a chance to talk, and get in a good feud and get over.
  23. From 1wrestling... "David Arquette has apologized to those he offended for his WCW Title run. "The fact of the matter is it really upset a lot of people and I’m sorry for that. I don’t write the storylines. If it’s sports entertainment and entertainment is what it’s all about, then what’s the big deal? I got so much shit. It was ridiculous, hearing on the radio these morons tearing me apart." The interview during which Arquette discussed his ill-fated tenure n professional wrestling is posted at MoviePoopShoot.com."

You seem to forget who "T" was. Bah. T&A was my team. Once they got used to working together, they were great. There's no reason they shouldn't have gotten a tag title run...at least they were better than Bull and the Goodfather. Agreed.
  25. Are we sure Suzuki will get a big push? Remember...he's FOREIGN!
