I think it's a little early to say they have given up on Carlito. I'm surprised they didn't just strip him of the belt, but since he's going to be out 3 months, I doubt doing a clean job to Cena will hurt him that much. Maybe they can make an angle out of it, as Teddy forced him to wrestle when injured.

It's easy enough to get at wrestlingtorrents anyways. -
I still don't believe WWE wrestler was Willie the Worker. Meltzer confirmed it wasn't Hardy. There's a thread about this in general wrestling.

What were Mankind's debut vignettes like?
-
Lol, I know what you mean. Still waiting for mine to show up in the mail. Much better to buy it that way.

Well if you like deathmatches, then obviously King of the Deathmatch 2004. Other good shows from this year are One More Time, Stylin' in the Summertime, An IWA Fairytale, and the Revolution Strong Style Tournament.

I was just watching the tape of tonight's RAW where HHH tells Batista that nothing good can come of him thinking, he's joking, lighten up, etc. My quesiton is this...if Batista turned face now, they canned the mega Orton push, and gave Batista the push towards a Wrestlemania main event with HHH, could he get over more than Orton would? I really think he could.

Wow, that flag to the gut and elbow to the chest would be enough to pin anybody.

Page won their first match. Also, there's proof right there that there's a way to make the younger guy lose without burying him. DDP lost most of his matches, but he was a very sympathetic common man, which helped him. He also got plenty of mic time and good lines and Savage was good about really selling the brutality of their matches, coming out the next night on TV all bandaged up and limping. He also was never portrayed as a coward, and always fought the odds straight ahead. Most didn't even notice that he lost so much because he was protected in other ways. Page also beat him when dressed as La Parka, right before BATB 1997.

That's why Meltzer talked for a paragraph about how you'd have to prolong the feud a long time to let Puder improve, and book it to hide weaknesses and accentuate positives.
-
The dumb thing about Luger vs. Bagwell is that Luger got the win back in a rematch the next night on Nitro. Why not just give the babyface the win on the big PPV?
-
That's kind of dumb they did this. Long article to read right before I go to bed. Wow.
-
Kind of. He had a cage match with Booker for the belt in September of 2000. Russo won the match when Goldberg speared him through the cage door, I believe. The title was held up and Booker won a weird match on Nitro against Jeff Jarrett to win the title back. Why? It's Russo!

Thanks for all your times posting, S.D.

It's gotta be RAW IS MAVEN~! So now we get HHH defending the title for three weeks and beating Maven, Jericho, and Benoit...right? Or do you think they'll mix things up a bit?
