Gotcha. Like I said, I doubt they're going to have Angle lose in his second week of doing this. Well after Rochester they have Smackdowns in Richmond, VA and Greenville, SC, and of course Armageddon in Atlanta. Not that the guy actually has to be from the hometown, but I can't really think of any guys from these cities who are on the verge of debuting. Edit: Joey Matthews is from Richmond, and the only other one I can think of is Matt Morgan, who is from Connecticut, and there will be a Smackdown there in January. But who knows.

Did they decide not to do it or what exactly did Meltzer say? The Rochester show is next week, I'm guessing this is something that will build for a few as Angle beats a few jobbers until someone upsets him or something.

True, I've seen a lot of mixed opinions on that match. But I haven't heard a single person yet say that this Joe vs. Punk match isn't great.

From the ROH boards: Just perused over my copy of the Observer which i received today. I live in the UK so I think we get it quicker for some reason. Anyway, there is a pretty big review of the Joe-Punk Chicago Ridge match inside. Meltzer describes that it is clear "it's one of the best matches in years" and gives it a rating of *****. He also states that anyone who is considering voting for match of the year needs to go out of their way to see this match. "It really turned into something special about 45 minutes in, with some great near falls, with WrestleMania main-event like crowd intensity. They weren't moves you hadn't seen, but they were good, beleivable exchanges of strikes and moves, throwing in Japanese style spots with a little MMA. At 52:00, loud ROH chants started and it was clear it didn't matter who won the match at that point, because people thought it was so good".

What about using human growth hormones? Brock Lesnar was arrested in 2001 (and released) for what police originally thought were steroids, but I guess they were human growth hormone pills. Are those still really dangerous to take? Side effects?

How long were Ian and Axl Rotten in ECW? I know Ian started IWA-MS in 1996, so did he have a falling out with Heyman and if so, over what? Were there ever any plans to put the world title on Tommy Dreamer at Barely Legal instead of Terry Funk? It just seems that would have been the perfect place for Dreamer to finally beat Raven. Why did New Jack never get in any real trouble for the Mass Transit incident? Because Kulas falsified documents and had asked New Jack to cut him? When did Corino debut in ECW? What happened between Mind Games in September of 96 where Sandman spit beer on Savio Vega and the ECW Invades RAW show in February 97? Did they build up ECW at all over those few months?

With the Rise and Fall ECW DVD out and ECW a hot topic, I figured why not do some fantasy booking? So your job is to book one last ECW show ever. You can use any former ECW talent, whether they are in the WWE, TNA, Japan, the indies, wherever (as long as they are living) to book your show. You can book current WWE guys vs. current TNA guys, it doesn't matter. Book one last ECW show. Give your matches, the results, the time of the match, etc. I will post my booking after some of you guys post yours. How would you book an ECW reunion show, the last ECW show ever?

Oh, I have a question. How/when did Sabu come back after no-showing that show in 1995 where Heyman buried him publicly?
