I was indeed. Thanks for the heads-up. MST3K, I got yours. I'm putting the show up now. I'm STILL missing at least two segments, one from Adam and one from Papa, but I'll leave room to edit them in later.
-
Okay gang, I KNOW for a fact I'm missing at least two segments, so I'm gonna hold off until 8-9ish. But please, try to get stuff in by then.
-
Fuck TSM, I'm out of this band.
-
"Posted at the same time as me." WHATEVER! QUIT HOLDING ME DOWN, PRETTY BOY!!! Heh. Yeah I can take it.
-
Huh. Well, despite Zack's cryptic words, send your stuff to me.
-
Assuming I can figure out what I'm doing, I could take it this week. So...I guess unless you hear different from a mod type, send your stuff to me. By 6PM Eastern, if you please. Northstar, if you got anything, send it my way. And if someone else wants to post it, I'll just send whatever I get to them.

DUDE! You have no idea what kind of a show you missed. Did you at least read the review of it anywhere? A LOT of shit went down. Oh, and ::beltshots:: CWM for thinking he's a better heel than me. Bitch. $5 says Seth ends up in Pittsburgh. He left on his boat. I don't think he'll be headed to Pittsburgh on that. He might always LAND his boat, y'know.
-
You'll get yours. Oh yes, you'll get yours. Well, probably.
-
NOT BARRON! All right, I'll let it slide THIS ONCE. That's it though.
-
Awesome. Although, now I'm OBLIGATED to kill you. Ah well.
-
Don't read anything into this, I mean it, you sons of bitches...but if anyone doing jobber matches wanted to use Chris Stevens, that'd be good. DON'T READ INTO IT. I will kill you if you do. EDIT: Obviously I don't mean everyone use him this week. Just one person/match a week. Just to be clear. And DON'T READ INTO IT.

Well all right then.

Papa, I was DYING last week when that happened, I kid you not. I had to work it in.
-
I just realized, nothing from Adam or MST3K this week. Weak, indeed. Maybe it was lost in translation?
-
Who keeps TALKING? Dammit. There's this voice, then I look over and the poster name is " ".

A bit of a short show, but a good one. Also, a little light on the matches, but they were all good. PK's return was coo, and I liked all the promos. And everyone should go read the Drek/Hoff match.

*grabs a Fresca from the fridge* Hoff's secret shame: I missed last night's season ender. I had to work. And, I was out of blank tapes. *cries*

Jer makes a good point, but that's something I had kind of factored in. Kain was a compelling character despite FFIV's weaker storytelling and dialogue, while to me, Celes was somewhat weak despite FFVI's great story. So...there you go. I think we're also forgetting about Jump, people. It's like, "Where'd he go? Where'd he go?" *BAM* EDIT: FWIW, I thought the basic story in IV was great, it just wasn't well translated or told, or delved into deeply enough.

I've BEEN to Canada... Never again.

No, see, that's not how it works. Now Wolverine, see, you pick anew opponent for him, and then they go at it and someone else picks the winner. You, by the way. Unless you're hurting one of my friends, then it's on. But otherwise, I'm a friggin' pans.
-
Care to expand on that? Dunno if he wants to, but I will. Celes as a stand-alone character is bland. She's not overly conflicted; she's doing her duty for the Empire, and has little issue with it. Only when Locke is brought into the picture does she become intriguing, and that's only because of Locke's deep-seeded problems stemming from the incident with Rachel. I admit, conflict did arise with Cid and the Magitek Research Facility, but even at Cid's death, Celes relies on Locke's bandana to inspire her to strike out. I'll give you that she ends up being fairly major as the one who begins the reuiniting, but that becomes basically forgotten by the story's conclusion, and is only really due to the fact that the game had to pick SOMEONE for you to start as after the End of the World, and Celes and Cid needed resolution, so why not. Kain, on the other hand, has some incredible conflict of his own; he battles between honor and pride, fights a mind control spell, and of course, plays the semi-stalker role to perfection. Add in how much cooler Jump is than friggin' Runic Blade and it's not even a question, in my book.

Rules are simple: look at the choices given, pick your winner, choose a new opponent and let it go. I'll start: Wolverine vs. Mega Man
