Mauer was a blow, but the kid's never been injured before in his life and all signs are he'll be back healthy in a month. As far as where the Twins'll finish, first in the ALC is theirs to lose...but they could lose it. I worry about the pen, but everything should work out okay. A.J. is and always has been one of baseball's better catchers, but now suddenly he's traded and he's hot shit. Bah, I say. But yeah he's good. And who doesn't love Hunter, indeed. Santana I like but I think he's been playing better than he is (see: Minnesota Wild, 2002-03). Brad Radke's another guy you've gotta love, he's consistent and has been loyal to the team.

No, but I work in a photo store and have developed a fair eye for pictures. This is pretty good. I'm curious as to whether it was film or digital, because the shadowy quality of the gondoleers (sp? may not even be a word) suggests overexposure, as does the darkness of the sky. But it definitely works. I dunno about a professional gallery, but it would at the very least make a cool postcard.

I think -- and I hope I'm not stepping on toes -- Rudo's basic point is that he's content with discussing WWE affairs with the good posters currently posting in the folder and doesn't see the need to add more. Consequently, he'd like to see steps taken not to lure more posters to the folder, but to improve the quality of life for those in there...which on the grand scale he feels isn't all that poor. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with this, nor am I even sure I'm reading it right. But, when looked at in that manner it becomes more understandable, and statements like the one Josh quoted above become less negative. Rudo's kind of a dick, though, so I say the board and folder be opened to new people just to spite him.
