People, glass houses, stones, you know the line.

I missed the first 20 minutes, but I caught the rest of the repklay and I think it's been my favorite ep so far. Awesome six-man match and the end segment was tremedous. Christian Cage and Monty Brown are two guys I really think they can build around.

Well, all right, but if it ends up sucking, come talk to me and we'll do something. You know I always wanted to work together. Rob, if you're lurking...same story. I'm-a close this thread now, since it's way off-topic. New entries soon.

Yeah, by the way, "retired" doesn't mean the same as "going to another promotion." Congrats on your sour grapes, and I hope the SWF tolerates bullshit a lot better than the OAOAST does.

This might be giving the WWE too much credit, but... 1. They haven't really built any one guy as super-strong. There's not a guy (or two) like last year who we KNOW is gonna win the Rumble. Outside of the WWE and World Champions, no one has been dominant. Not that it's a totally even field -- we all know that Kid Kash ain't headlining Mania -- but it could really be anyone. 2. Edge is literally feuding with no one. He has a built-in rematch and feud with Cena, which really has one match in it and that's about it. After the Royal Rumble, our champ's schedule is pretty open. With that in mind...could they be building to Edge vs. Matt Hardy at Wrestlemania? Hardy, as he's fond of saying, "will not die," and it'd fit in with his character perfectly to show up on Edge's radar after months on a different show. As we saw with Benoit two years ago, the RR winner can change shows if he so desires. And while neither man is the pinnacle of overness, they had a hot feud over the summer, and they could probably reprise it easily enough. And of course, if you believe Matt Hardy, he was always saying "watch me in six months"...we're coming up on that. Just saying...

I wonder if they'll change the style of the belt.

I was ecstatic when Triple H made his return in 2002. Oh, if I had but known.

Swing, and a miss.

I think the problem is that your earlier posts seemed very authoratative and matter-of-fact. Your response of "No," in particular, didn't inspire many feelings of respect. Not trying to pick on you, just saying. EDIT: Granted, Matt's GIANT FONT OF DOOM wasn't exactly screaming "rational argument," either.

I have one gimmick. Who can guess who it is? And no guessing if you know.

As it pertains to Rey... http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/blog/hoff/ Some interesting points to consider. THUMBS UP, CHEAP POP!

RE: Mooch. My dad brought up an interesting point. Marriuci had a hell of a run in San Fran, but then again, the framework was kinda laid already. Contrarily, he didn't do well in Detroit, but look at what he had to work with. Matt Millen at the helm, Kevin "Hype" Jones, Joey Harrington, and a very spotty defense. I mean, Jason Hanson can't do it all. The Vikes, I think, would be a very interesting situation for him -- a young team, on the brink of being a contender, with a lot of raw talent, with a new owner, but one sorely in need of direction. Denny Green would likely run this Viking team into the ground. Could Mooch do better? I, personally, would love to see it.

I finally thought of a good topic for my blog! Based off of the following thread: MOTY 2006 In said thread, a discussion has emerged as to the merits of one Rey Mysterio, and when he had his last ***** match, if any. Now, we as an internet community take for granted that Rey is a good worker, but I've found that often times, we base these opinions on past memories without looking at the situation analytically. For instance, I'll admit to being a huge fan of Chris Jericho, but toward the end of his WWE run, I went back and looked at a lot of his matches, and much of the stuff in 2003 and 2004 seemed sloppy at times, as well as generally uninspired. I'll never stop being a fan and it takes nothing away from all the great things he's done, but looking at it this way made me reconsider where I place Y2J on my "favorite wrestlers of all time" list (#7, BTW). So, with all of that long-windedness in mind, I have three questions for you all. 1. What do you consider to be Rey Mysterio's best match? 2. They're often harder to remember, but what do you consider to be Rey Mysterio's worst match? 3. Having hopefully called to mind much of Rey's body of work, has your opinion of him changed? Do you find him any less entertaining? Hopefully this'll spark some discussion. I'll weigh in this weekend with my own thoughts. Until then, take it easy, kids. -Hoff

Could it be because he kind of looks like a Saint Bernard? I know it's a stretch, but it's something.

No kidding! I mean, people never talk about people they don't like. ..... Never, ever, ever, ever, ever.

I didn't really criticize the show. I just said it's never been something I needed to see. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/criticize Main Entry: crit·i·cize Pronunciation: 'kri-t&-"sIz Function: verb Inflected Form(s): -cized; -ciz·ing intransitive senses : to act as a critic transitive senses 1 : to consider the merits and demerits of and judge accordingly : EVALUATE While you didn't list your likes and dislikes of the show, you most certainly took those into consideration as you made a value judgement. Hence, criticism.

Good work, K. "Lesner" and "masterbate" are two of TSM's favorite words.

Actually, any extra Vitamin C is just harmlessly excreted by the body, I think. Other vitamins can cause serious health problems if overused. You think correctly. -
They're still flip-flopping. I have to say that I don't get your criticisms, Czech. Futurama doesn't pelt you with jokes the way that FG or the Simpsons do, but it stays entertaining throughout an episode, and tells a good story, too. I also agree with whoever said that the show had a lot of heart, as it often left me feeling warm and fuzzy.

Who will be the new head coach for the Minnesota Vikings? Steve Marriuci....? The three of you reading this blog, offer thoughts. I'm way too tired to post anything else today. -Hoff
