Well it finally comes out for US PS2 tomorrow. Who's going to be playing and who's already playing on PC? I'm buying it tomorrow or Wednesday. If there's enough interest maybe some of us could play together? I want to be a red mage.

Nemesis is RE 3. It's called Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. In Japan it's Biohazard 3: Last Escape. RE3

No, Outbreak is yet another "this is what was happening during RE2!" game.

I used to love RE but now it's just old. Capcom's never ending stream of side stories, prequels, and remakes has really burnt me out. I was really into the story, but it's got way too convoluted. The whole backstory stopped making sense years ago because of all the side games. It's impossible to keep track of which virus does what, which Umbrella employee is screwing another employee, who's involved in a secret coverup, and so on. It's like they will go "this is what actually happened before RE1..." then release another game that's like "NO WAIT, this is what REALLY happened!" only to add even more later. The original, fairly simple mythos RE1 and 2 established has completely changed because of all the side games to include nonsense like that Marcus guy and his bugs, secret island bases, uber prototype-viruses and who knows what else. They also never actually move the plot forward. Since 1997 they've been hyping and building towards STARS, Leon and the others finally going after Umbrella and exposing them...yet it never happens. They just add more and more to the backstory. It's so boring. I've been less into each game as they come out. Their stalling eventually just killed my interest in the series. I will get 4, but I'm not really hyped about it.

Yeah, there's two endings. I believe the TV version is the original.

Kano's had a pretty good career, especially for one who's missed two games. He's gone from an every day thug to the general of Kahn's forces.
-
They said Motaro saved Kano from death in MK3 and that Kano was in Outworld during MK4. Not sure about Jarek. MKDA kind of hints that Hsu Hao killed him though. In Kano's Konquest it's like "do it for Jarek!" in one of the missions against Hsu, who we know was previously hunting down Black Dragon members.

The wording was that Mavado had "apparently" killed Kabal. So I guess Mavado was wrong and left Kabal for dead. Using "apparently" and then having someone return has been done before. Goro being a notable example.

Gameinformer confirmed Kabal! 24 characters. 8 new, 10 classics and 6 from MKDA. So far... New: 1.Hotaru 2.Ashra 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Classic: 1.Baraka 2.Mileena 3.Ermac 4.Noob 5.Nightwolf 6.Kabal 7.Sindel 8.Smoke? 9. 10. MKDA: 1.Scorpion 2.Sub-Zero 3.Kenshi 4.Bo' Rai Cho? 5.Kitana? 6.Quan Chi?

The build is incredible! I love the part in the video package where Mick turns around after being hit in the back with a chair. The one thing that bugs me about the match is Rock's interference. I hate how Rock helps Mick yet Mick ends up losing in the end.

I beat WOH as all 3 characters. Don't know about the Xbox port, but I never had any control problems. The game is unpolished though. The whole series is.

I have several cabinets, but they're not THAT expensive. Most of them are like only twice as much as a game console at launch. The most expensive was Tekken Tag. But yeah, I'm a princess.

I only really do that for fighting games and a few exceptions. I do a LOT of trading in. If I don't like something or don't think I'll ever play it again I get rid of it, unless it's a fighting game or a big franchise I like(MGS, FF, whatever...).
-
I'm not a SNK fan so much as Sagat is just really boring and stale.
-
I'm sure it will be great, maybe even my favorite game of the year, but I'm not all that hyped so far. I am not too happy about the setting. I really liked the somewhat futuristic military base settings, the jungle doesn't do much for me.
-
Iori.

All I really want is a big roster. I can deal with the broken mechanics that yukes games always have if they'd just give me a huge roster. I mean real wrestlers too, not women, managers and legends.
-
MGS2 is one of those games like FF VIII or MKDA that sold millions and got good scores with all the press yet it seems like everyone on the net hates it.
-
That "psycho" stuff is horrible. Awful acting. She is worse than Vince at exaggerating.
-
No. It was never annouced to have anything to do with MGS2. It was always a remake of MGS1. I dont know where you got this from.

Smoke has the Bomb Fatalities. The fact that Cyrax has the bomb special moves yet Smoke has the bomb Fatalities makes no sense.... UYI is right. Use short chain combos against Moloch. Also stay just outside range of his lunging strikes and then run in and attack him when he misses.

Buyrates & Main Events For All Past WrestleManias
Anya replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
When Rock made the challenge he offered Hogan "one more main event", refering to the match as the main event. -
Yeah, the arm panel thing is the same. And Cyrax DOES have the dreadlocks. He even uses them in a fatality, where he spins around like a helicopter and slices them up. Speaking of dreadlocks Ultra Vortek has a character named "Dreadloc" who is a stereotypical Jamican guy. He blows rings of smoke and says "hey mon!" all the time. Like a MK version of Dee Jay, I guess.
-
The Cyrax/Predator thing isn't a coincidence. John Tobias admitted he ripped off Predator. Check out Cyrax's self destruct fatality.... He also admitted Kabal is a "tribute" to the Tuskan Raiders in Star Wars. A lot of MK is inspired by other stuff. The whole idea of the original was a take on movies like Enter the Dragon and Big Trouble in Little China. And Cage's original design is based on Jean Claude Van Dam from Bloodsport, who was going to actually play the role(but he ended up turning it down). The K in Kombat is just to have something unique for their brand name, I guess.
