So, let me get this straight: The Lions dump Harrington because he was a bust of a QB. This was despite the fact that both of his head coaches were fired, he had a team of young, injury prone wide receivers, and wasn't even given a good running until they got Kevin Jones last year. The Lions also fire Mariucci, despite the fact that he had Joey Harrington as a QB, along with everything mentioned above. And yet, the guy who hired the coach and drafted most of the offense gets a five year extension because he did such a wonderful job? I just don't get the logic there, unless the Lions are trying to lose, in which case, I am sure they will for many, many more years to come. Well, at least they're consistent. Bring back Mortinwheg!

I could be wrong, but I think I qualified for a bowl last week. You did spoil my bid for an undefeated conference season though.

Would that be the one where the game froze when you were trying to get next season after winning the Championship? I LOVED that one. I loved it even more because my final opponent was Middle Tennessee State, who was a 12th seed that got to the final game on a total fluke. Of course, my Illinois St. team was worlds better than they were, so it took me a good half an hour before I could finally simulate a victory for Middle Tennessee so that I could go to the next season. Good game, but as usual, the bugs seemed to totally ruin it for me.

It looks like my team won and became Bowl eligible. I guess that means I will be making a return trip to the KFC PETA Bowl, at the very least. Awful week otherwise, but at least I won.

4 in a row for me. I doubt it will be enough to get me into the Top Ten, but at least I locked up the regular season conference title and gained a spot in Conference Championship. Now, I just need one more win to become bowl eligible. Yippee!

Actually, Middle Tennessee St. beat Vanderbilt 17-15. Another fun fact: Division leader Louisiana-Monroe lost to division 1-AA Northwestern State.

Huge win for me this week. My team gained a two game lead in the conference with three remaining. That should hopefully mean I have a good chance of making it to the conference championship. It's too bad I was so terrible out conference though. 1-5 out of conference, 4-0 in conference. Geez, I am like the North Texas of this game.

I remember when I stopped playing RPG's two or three years ago the trend was going more towards making the game as long as possible. I wasn't a fan of such a trend of making games like 100 hours long, but 20 hours seems like it is way too short a time to properly flesh out the story. What happened to suddenly cause RPG's to become so drastically shorter? Just curious...

Sadly not. Anyway, I won't be saying it again as the guy in my league who had Marc Bulger dumped him to pick up Jeff Garcia, so I snagged him off waivers. It puzzles me as to why someone would want to give up a QB who seems to get about 23 points a game(when healthy) for a mixed bag like Garcia, but, hey, I am not complaining. I just hope he'll be back by Week 10. Oh yeah, I started Culpepper, and won my game pretty easily, even getting the most points for the week, despite starting an inactive Torry Holt. If everything works out well for my team, the rest of the season could well be a cake walk for me.

I know when I tuned into Raw and saw Ross and Lawler commentating the show in suits, it immediately transformed stuff like the Kane/Lita/Snitsky angle into intelligent, highbrow entertainment! I always assumed it was an image thing. They want to portray a better of image of their company and wrestlers by having them dress better. Of course, one would think this would also apply to the kind of stuff they put on television, but this is the WWE we're talking about here.

I have a slight QB dilemma on my hands this week. I can't decide whether I should go with Daunte Culpepper or Gus Frerotte. Frerotte looks to do well enough in his game against Kansas City tomorrow, but something is tempting me to start Culpepper again. What should I do?

Agreed. I don't really see much reason for all the complaining about these offline drafts, personally. Heck, we're already over halfway done with the whole thing.

Last year, I won a free fantasy basketball team from sportsline and some video game, among other things, from playing the Online game. Nothing too special. I actually had a friend in college who won a trip to Disneyland from one of the McDonalds games. Lucky bastard.
