Me too. I hated when I would accidentally have a QB ATH commit, but I had some absolute steals at the FB position using athletes. The best was getting a lightly recruited, one star recruit who ended up being around 96 overall by his senior year. He was certainly much better than most of the guys I could have had at the FB position.

I can't remember the name of it, but there was a game for the Super Nintendo which had that basic premise. You had to chose either the Japanese or American naval commander with the ultimate objective being to conquer your opponent's country. The funny thing was that it was much easier to beat the game with the Japanese than it was with the Americans.

I figured I'd bump this as, apparently, the villain and his henchman have been cast. Looks to be two relative unknowns, but, they seem to, at least, look like a good choice to me. It certainly seems better than a lot of other rumored choices I had heard for the roles.

It could be worse. My first four picks in the TSM league were the following: Daunte Culpepper, Curtis Martin(everyone starting picking RB's and I panicked), Joe Horn, & Michael Clayton. I am honestly shocked I was able to string together two wins this season. I was also eliminated this week in my other league. I had a pretty good team, but thanks to injuries to my QB's and my WR's always having to deal to deal with backup QB's unable to throw to them to them, my team never reached it's full potential. How frustrating.

I see 0-4 UC Davis beat Stanford in basketball this time. I really thought they were going to avenge the other UC Davis loss, but I guess it wasn't to be. I really feel bad for Bored. Must be an awesome year to be a UC Davis fan though.

Well, Tulsa just took a 17 point lead with about 2 minutes remaining, so it looks like I am going to take the PAC 8 this year. I am shocked no one else picked Tulsa this week. They seemed like they were the better team going into the game, and proved it rather well. My first Conference Championship win, and now it's onto a bowl against an underrated Northwestern team. Not bad considering my team started 2-5.
