That sucks. I'm a Red Sox fan, and even I don't want Yankee Stadium replaced. Too much history to just brush off. Not to mention the new stadium would probably be just another corporate named stadium.

The only problem is, BDSSP is horrible and impossible to watch. If I want to watch a sports show, I want to at least here a valid opinion. I don't want to hear some guy say something to get a laugh.

Ok, so I've been a huge Swamp Thing mark, and I just saw that Marvel is "Knight"ing Man-Thing. Can someone explain Man-Thing to me.

That's not the purpose of the game, though. That's the difference, at least to me.

I've been trying to figure this out myself.

But is baseball played to tell a story? Is football? Is soccer? No. The purpose of a wrestling match is to tell a story. All other sports are to play games. The story is a result of the game, not vice versa.

I just wanted to leave a note for the mods to know that I'm not going to be able to pust much for the next month or so. I'm graduating Saturday, moving back to Ohio, and then getting married on the 14th. I'm going to be moving into a new place, and I may not have internet for a bit. I think they should make it where the longer you've been in, the easier it is to throw you out. That way, if you just come in, you've got a lot more stamina than Ultimo Dragon, who's been in for ten minutes. That way, if Ultimo Dragon, who's on a roll and has eliminated several people, tries to throw you out as soon as you get in, he can't. I like the idea of the button tapping for eliminations because it prevents things like that from happening. Because that happens to me A LOT. How about this: the longer you're in, the less stamina you have. But to maintain the possibility of making through the entire rumble, every time you eliminate someone you gain some stamina. That way, if you get on a roll, you can't get accidentally eliminated because someone is fresher.

That's why I watch Impact, and not the PPV's. Well, that and because I have been living with my grandparents, who don't get PPV at all.

I'll venture out here and say the art isn't in the shitty acting, the stupid vignettes or the long promo's, but in the actual wrestling. A good wrestling match features two people using physical movement to tell a story. This involves movesets, ring psychology, and a need for crowd involvement. The point is to draw the crowd into the match and get them emotionally involved, just like ballet or painting. But of course, someone's going to bring up the fact that I was once Red Hot Thumbsack in the Ass, and this post will be overlooked because of that.

This is pretty much it. It's not that we truly dislike the product, but we know it's a bit misguided. It's actually just a few steps away from being REALLY good. I think the majority of people here hope that they start making money, find someone intelligent to help out, and actually put on really good shows. But I doubt most of us really believe all three of those will happen, or happen soon. We still rally around it in hope that a miracle takes place.
