Having said that, I am kind of tempted by getting one.

Although it's being touted as the most successful launch over here, everybody who wants one already has one, so don't expect it to transition into cotinued sales.

FWIW, I'm not seeing the PS3 launch as a major success over here. I had a look at the stock in one shop over here: they had 143 PS3s in stock, whereas there were no Wiis. It seems like Sony may have overestimated the demand in the UK, as every shop has a good supply of PS3s on sale. On the other hand, there are no Wiis available. Could end up being bad for Sony judging by how big a hit they're taking on each console even if they're sold.

I liked the episode. I'm surprised people haven't been panning it though.

Looking good for Derby. From what I've seen, they deserve a place in the top flight along with Keane's Sunderland. For those who care, Pompey's season has fallen apart from European contenders to mid-table obscurity. A good finish will see us get into Europe, but they need to start soon. 0-0 against Reading at the weekend, who are nl5xsk1's team. I was looking forward to taunting him again.

Not too shabby. I'll be going to Rock en Seine in Paris this year (sleeping in a hotel in Paris at a similar price beats sleeping in a field in Berkshire any day of the week, and the line up is normally good: this year looks to be headlined by Bjork and NIN), but if that wasn't on I'd be there in a sec. The two festivals normally share bands anyway. The only band I really wanna see on that line-up is Smashing Pumpkins, who I'll be seeing in Barcelona at the start of June, but it's normally the undercard that's great there.

Bastard Lushus I like how this has become almost a referendum on Clique A vs Clique B.
