  1. civilization?
  2. Young Guns 2 is a solid sequel. Billy: "Should we give him a proper burial?" *Billy, Dave, and Pat start kicking dirt onto the dead guy*
  3. Bleh...unless it goes back to WWF I could care less
  4. Black and White?
  5. Fuckin' Paul London! London, Jimmy Rave, and Joey Matthews have all married daughters of Jerry Jarrett and got pay boosts and creative control. I changed London's gimmick from Blue Chipper to Franchise Player (Which makes more since now that he's part of the Jarrett family). It was a bad call and he's losing overness because of it. BUT instead of letting me do a double change and just taking the hit in overness he vetos the gimmick turns with his creative control. So mainly I have to keep him off of tv long enough to be able to change his gimmick. Same thing happened to Jeff Jarrett with creative control and I eventually stopped using him, he's been at zero moral for well over a year now. And Matthews and York were creative control bitches about putting over Hero and Steel for the tag titles.
  6. Grease 2 was total balls! The first was good for what it was. But the 2nd one was rancid.
  7. cd music settlement. If you bought a CD from 2000 to sometime in 2002 (I think) you'd get between $5-$20 back. I guess the final number was $13.86. It was mainly payback for the RIAA overcharging like a bastard for all these years. Sorry if you didn't register
  8. No dice...but I did get my first EGM issue, in the video game forum someone posted a link to free subscriptions.
  9. Club Dread I've only seen a couple of previews for that. And the previews don't tell you anything. I see Twisted bombing pretty good
  10. Damn...I forgot too...I'll check my mailbox
  11. I don't think there's such a thing as "the entertaining half of the APA." I think it's just the less irritating half
  12. If he stops showing up I really wouldn't notice. I like Simmons for the most part and liked the team when they started tagging...but they just don't have great matches.
  13. Hardball Cast- Darrell Hammond, Chris Parnell, Horatio Sanz -Like usual it's a very solid skit. Darrell's great as Chris Matthews, but not funny as Arnold. Sanz was funny. Good way to start the show. ***1/2 Monologue Cast- Christina Agulera, Lorne Michaels, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Sanz, Parnell, Kenan Thompson, Finesse Mitchell -First thing, AND NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT...but Finesse Mitchell comes off gayer and gayer every time he's on tv. Very funny opening, and good joke at Mitchell's expense. KILLED by a song. 4 star potental, but the song costs them one. *** Sex and the City Cast- Agulera, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph -Maya was her usual awful. Amy was less then great. Rachel was so-so. And who'd of thunk it, Agulera was a perfect Samantha Jones...I kinda sorta got into the show last year when I caught it on a free HBO marathon run. Anyway...Rachel's jokes just felt flat, but Christina made it pretty good. *** Do You Know Who My Father Is? Cast- Agulera, Forte, Seth Meyers, Parnell -Couple laughs, Seth could have toned it down a little and Forte just was not funny. 1/2* Fun with Real Audio -Just not good, I understood the joke, but it just wasn't funny. Here it comes Barron...DUD! Womens Week Cast- Agulera, Hammond, Poehler, Dratch, Rudolph, Parnell -Decient, could have been better. I'll take Hammond when I can get it though. ** Weekend Update Cast- Fallon, Fey, Forte -Still not liking Forte, while he was alright here, and his Maya joke was very good, I just don't find his bits too funny. Good WU though, but they're killing these by making them shorter every week. ***1/2 You Got Served Cast- Agulera, Rudolph, Parnell, Sanz, Meyers, Forte Thompson, Mitchell -ehh, a week too late and not enough actual jokes. * Backstage with Christina Cast- Agulera, Rudolph, Poehler, Sanz, Dratch, Armisen, Mitchell, Thompson -The Osbournes bits are usually good, even thought Sanz is just too fat to play the role. Kennan was good. Maya wasn't funny, and Mitchell came off even gayer...I like that Christina will make fun of her self, but then she tries to take it back...I almost expected her to break into song again. ** Spanish Soap Opera Cast- Agulera, Sanz, Dratch, Meyers, Armisen -A tad bit of credit for Agulera in a maid outfit...other then that I was just waiting for it to end...but it went on and on and on. Maya even managed to annyoing me by just making an ugly face. 1/2* Bad Employe Cast- Parnell, Poehler, Forte -Didn't do much for me. Forte seems to be playing the same charcter all the time. Where he talks loud and does a whiney voice. Couple of good jokes, but far from great. ** STOP SHOWING HUGGIES THONGS! Write something new ya lazy bastards! Walgreens Cast- Agulera, Sanz, Parnell, Dratch -Alright bit. Maya's done this character before and it's actually worth a laugh. Kennan was in the skit (you missed him Bob)...but he was kinda there for no reason. Agulera kept stpping over her lines. Not bad. **
  14. I might pick it up. While I enjoyed the seires it sucks that there won't be any more episodes.
  15. The Rick James episode is just as funny the second time though. Laughed my ass off just as much as the first time I saw it. "They should of never given you niggas money!" "You can buy a new couch mothafucka! What am I gonna do about my LEGS!" Chappelle's the funniest guy on tv right now
  16. I don't know if people consider it a sequal. But Dawn of The Dead is one of my all time favorites, and definatly my favorite horror film
  17. They screwed up Mania 2000 with every match as 3 ways, 4 ways, or multiple tags
  18. I think it's safe to call Against the Ropes a bomb...I think a lot of theatres didn't pick it up cause it had bomb written all over it. And it'll be on even less screens next week and out of the top 10.
  19. OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! OZ! WHOO!!! Oz, season 3! ... that's all
  20. I think everyone thought of Brock as Venom at one point or another, I don't think anyone can claim first dibs on that. I just don't see Dushku in the role...don't know why though
  21. ECW booked 3 ways better by having guys with similar styles and whatnot in the matches. Vince just seems to take 3 random main event guys and throw them together
  22. Eurotrip has gotten tons of advertising, the movie just has no namepower at all, comedies like this never seem to do great.
  23. In retort I offer you the main events of Vengeance 2002 (Rock, Taker, and Angle) and 2003 (Angle, Brock, and Big Show). I'll throw in Survivor Series 99 with Show, Rock, and Hunter. ...so they're pretty hit and miss. I'd just rather see 1 on 1 matches
  24. 1 50 First Dates $21,000,000/$72,311,000 2 Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen $9,217,000/$9,217,000 3 Miracle $8,000,000/$50,549,000 4 Welcome to Mooseport $7,000,000/$7,000,000 5 Eurotrip $6,600,000/$6,600,000 6 Barbershop 2: Back in Business $6,300,000/$53,236,000 7 Mystic River $3,120,000/$79,152,000 8 Against the Ropes $3,000,000/$3,000,000 9 The Butterfly Effect $2,875,000/$53,107,000 10 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King $2,800,000/$361,068,000 11 You Got Served $2,700,000/$36,477,000 12 Monster $2,516,090/$23,782,209 ------------------------------ Opening Next Week nationwide -The Passion of The Christ -Broken Lizard's Club Dread -Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights -Twisted
  25. I got a Gamecube a little while back, all I have for it are the Buffy and Viewtiful Joe games. I'll eventually pick more up. Overall I'm kinda "ehh" on the machine, but I'll stick with it for a while, and when the next thing comes out and Gamecube games tumble in price I'll stock up. I really regret getting rid of my Dreamcast when they annouced that they were done making games for it.
