  1. After M*A*S*H went in the fourth round, nothing in this draft surprises me anymore. Don't mean to toot my own horn, but Round 7: ER
  2. Dude he fought was 3-2 going into the fight, only been fighting about a year. Phil won't ever evolve as a fighter, if he can't knock people out quick then he's getting beat. He'll get his .500 record back soon
  3. ugh, no computer, sorry for holding things up. I'll take Nobunaga's Ambition for the NES Awesome strategy game, an all time favorite. I've come so close to beating it but never quite made it. North vs South is a very good unknown pick up
  4. Ugh, no internet. I'm going with the Showtime series Brotherhood. Awesome Irish Gangster series and another reason why Showtime is running past HBO in original series. Awesome seeing Ethan Embry from Can't Hardly Wait play a total boozehound cop that can't keep his shit together
  5. Pretty Asian women please me just find a good one and forget your problems
  6. I had Bonnar 29-28 as well. I've seen the fight a few times and it's what I always come up with. Although it's so close it's not really worth having a serious argument about.
  7. Devil May Cry, PS2 Always loved this game, found it pretty easy actually, but it was always fun to play through and try and beat my speed score
  8. I couldn't ever get good enough at Blitzball. Awesome game though. LOVED Sin as the main bad guy, thing was huge, it felt like an unstoppable monster.
  9. Yeah, cunt, take that. Here's some other fucking facts -This nation's 30th president was Calvin "Motherfucking" Coolidge -VHS videos aren't as easy to find in major retail stores as they used to be -and chicken is fucking delicious And now you know those things too. fuck fuck
  10. No SpideMan 3 had some pretty bad buzz right before the movie opened, early reviews weren't so hot. Plus I remember a lot of misgivings people had about him trying to cram too much into the film (which turned out to be the case). I think The Dark Knight is overhyped so far though. I definitly think it will be a great film and be very successfull but I don't think it's going to be breaking any records for opening weekend or anything. Remember, it's a sequel to Batman Begins and that movie did 200 million at the box office, so it's not like this one is going to make the whole gross of Batman Begins in 1 week or anything. Could be wrong though, the reviews so far make it out to be a phenomenal film and there is all that news about presale sell outs. Yeah, I didn't hear much good at all about Spidey 3. And after I saw it I pretty much agreed. I trust Chris Nolan, love Bale as Batman, Michael Cain's great, and said from the beginning that Ledger as Joker sounded great. Overhyped or not I expect this to be great
  11. What's to keep Dana from doing this to combat every single Affliction card? If this shit works then it'll happen every time. Which let's face it is a bitch move. Completely his right to do so, but as a fan I think healthy competition would be the best thing for the UFC. Otherwise it'll get stale
  12. I honestly think Jess can hold him down and get a snooze decision. The whole Vera fight just seems stupid to me. The general idea of thinking is that if someone moves down in weight then it's to their advantage, so it would make perfect sense for Vera to start off with someone in the middle of the pack or someone near the top...and not some dude I've never heard of. For the co-headlining fight it's weak. Jake vs Cain and the main event are two dangerous matches for the UFC. If Anderson does suffer some freak knockout loss then I don't think he loses any credit at 185. They'll sell him as "undefeated at 185" instead of undefeated in the UFC. BUT what they really missed was selling Anderson moving up in weight to fight a real 205 conteder. Ando vs Chuck or Rampage would have made monster money for the UFC. Instead they're giving away his (temporary) move to 205 and it's against who cares
  13. Yeah, that's a pretty unknown undercard. While I don't want this to bomb, it's a bitch move for trying to cut Affliciton's nuts off for their ppv, so it wouldn't bother me too badly if it didn't do great
  14. Yeah, that's a pretty unknown undercard. While I don't want this to bomb, it's a bitch move for trying to cut Affliciton's nuts off for their ppv, so it wouldn't bother me too badly if it didn't do great
  15. Yeah, I watched it a couple of years ago. Keaton and Jack's performances are solid as hell, but overall the movie doesn't seem to have the same punch it used to
  16. If they don't seriously put an Avengers movie in the works then it's a total bitch move to keep hinting towards it. With Ironman and Hulk as proven franchises, plus money that could be made in a well done solo Captain America movie...I can't see them putting all these into one single movie.
  17. I kinda wish Nikki was dead. Just an insanely uninteresting character. Not getting my hopes up though.
  18. Truth be told I think I had BZ near the bottom of my voting list. Batman is obviously the best pick in the draft, but overall I wasn't loving the picks
  19. Damn thread has been active for 15 months now
  20. ...I wouldn'd mind one myself, but I get that it was just for him
  21. Damn, I didn't think top 10 was out of reach. Green Arrow, Dr Doom, Surfer, DD...oh well, congrats BZ
  22. Agreed, let's end this damn thing and let me claim my #12 spot
  23. Congrats, sir. How old are the boys? If they're just youngins themselves then it's perfect high school portection for the daughter
  24. Total payroll for the pay-per-view event, which took place July 5 at the Mandalay Bay Events in Las Vegas, was $943,000. Griffin and Jackson accounted for 50.4 percent of the payroll. Also worth noting is that Gabriel Gonzaga earned the event's third-highest payout ($100,000) despite appearing in an un-aired preliminary card. The full list of salaries included: Forrest Griffin: $250,000 ($150,000 win bonus) def. Quinton Jackson: $225,000 Patrick Cote: $32,000 ($16,000 win bonus) def. Ricardo Almeida: $23,000 Joe Stevenson: $60,000 ($30,000 win bonus) def. Gleison Tibau: $11,000 Josh Koscheck: $70,000 ($35,000 win bonus) def. Chris Lytle: $14,000 Tyson Griffin: $40,000 ($20,000 win bonus) def. Marcus Aurelio: $40,000 Gabriel Gonzaga: $100,000 ($50,000 win bonus) def. Justin McCully: $5,000 Cole Miller: $20,000 ($10,000 win bonus) def. Jorge Gurgel: $ 10,000 Melvin Guillard: $20,000 ($10,000 win bonus) def. Dennis Siver: $7,000 Justin Buchholz: $8,000 ($4000 win bonus) def. Corey Hill: $8,000 Not to mention the $60k Rampage and Forrest got for FOTN. Cole Miller and Melvin got the same for subs and KO of the night Kos got a nice pay bump from his old contract
