My g/f is a huge DMB fan, and I have gone with her to see them with her 2 years in a row now when they have hit Pittsburgh, which they always play 2 nights here anways.. The music just does nothing for me, maybe its because Im a metalhead, I dont know....It's not that I dont respect the musicianship, because I do, the music is just boring to me. She had a good time so it was all good...

I'm not a fan of the new album at all.... I loved their Self-Titled release...good stuff..mindless but good.. Iowa sucked pretty damn bad.. The new album..I dunno..the production does nothing for me, it sounds like Stone Sour version 2, and I like Stone Sour, but I just cant get into the album.. and as for whoever said this was the best album in the past 4 years...no way in hell... Shadows Fall..."Of One Blood", "The Art of Balance" KSE "Alive or Just Breathing" Lamb of God "New American Gospel", "As The Palaces Burns" God Forbid "Gone Forever" Machine Head "Through the Ashes of Empires" Black Label Society "1919 Eternal" those are just off the top of my head...

even though Metallica's last few albums have been subpar, by their standards...they still put on one of the best live shows in exsistense...IMO.. just waiting for the Pittsburgh date...havent seen em since 98 or so...

Linkin Park is one of the worst bands to come around in the past 5 years or so...they are what is wrong with muisc today... It's a shame that there bands like them get commercial success when you have bands with loads more talent...Shadows Fall, Machine Head, God Forbid, Lamb of God, KSE etc....that get no where near the commercial success when they are 100X the band that Linkin Park every hopes to be...
