  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDnZNFZbu-s...feature=related How did this promo air uncensored?
  2. It was indeed 10. They ran an angle where Austin attacked Bret right as Raw went off the air and the next week Bret came out and said he was unable to compete at KOTR because of it. HBK got upset at Austin for taking away his match and Pillman, knowing that there was bad blood between HBK and Austin, offered to relinquish his match with Austin at KOTR in favor for HBK/Austin which both men agreed to.
  3. Taken actually looks pretty interesting. How are the reviews for it?
  4. The coolest/most random thing about Pete & Pete was Iggy Pop playing Ellen's father. I didn't realize this when I was younger when my older brother said "holy shit, it's Iggy Pop from The Stooges!".
  5. Are You Afraid of the Dark? is one of my favorite shows ever. I remember watching it as a kid and being scared shitless (it was the last show to air on Snick that evening with a 9:30 timeslot) and thanks to Youtube, I've seen most of the episodes again recently and some hold up incredibly well. I remember Roundhouse but I also remember not understanding it well, I always just thought "Why are these people randomly singing and dancing all the time?". Clarissa wasn't bad but looking at old clips of it, it's aged pretty badly. Ren & Stimpy (the original cartoon, not that shitty remake they did for Spike TV a few years ago) is one of the best cartoons ever, the humor was so sublte. As for me, I stopped watching after they took Keenan and Kel off. I loved K&K and I was pissed when they gave "Action League Now!" it's own spin-off. The sketch was funny on Kablaam because it was like 3 minutes long. It certainly did not warrant it's own half hour show.
  6. They had a lumberjack match on Raw the week before Survivor Series which Orton won after interference from William Regal. It's a shame that the Orton/Punk fued never really took off, it would have been huge.
  7. Rourke getting involved with the WWE is pretty dumb and will definatley cost him the Oscar if he doesn't keep quiet about it. Doing a worked angle with the WWE cheapens the integrity of the movie and the role Rourke played. How is someone who helped depict the scummy world of pro wrestling actually going to embrace the very thing that was portrayed as life threatening? This is a foolish move on Rourke's part but hey, maybe the awards don't mean much to him. Jericho was actually pretty spot on with his comments Monday where he said "there's a big difference between playing a wrestling in a movie and actually being one."
  8. I actually like Maryse's music.
  9. Crash is way overrated. Alright movie with huge flaws (forced message, bad casting). I liked Brokeback Mountain better myself.
  10. No particular order: 1.) Metallica - Ride The Lightning 2.) Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction 3.) The Offspring - Smash 4.) Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind 5.) Judas Priest - Painkiller 6.) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III 7.) Alice In Chains - Dirt 8.) Black Sabbath - Paranoid 9.) Faith No More - Angel Dust 10.) The Clash - London Calling
  11. The Rumble match made me realize one thing: Too many guys wear short black trunks.
  12. Jesus, so many guys in the ring right now with short black trunks. It's hard to tell who's who.
  13. The Reader is this year's Atonement.
  14. You know, Malcolm X has aged terribly in my opinion. It was amazing when I first saw it years ago but now I can barely sit through it. Scent of a Woman, along with Dog Day Afternoon, is my favorite Pacino performance. Way better than The Godfather and the very overrated Scarface.
  15. I haven't seen "The Visitor" but it's weird to see two Oscar favorites like DiCaprio and Eastwood get snubbed for Richard Jenkins. I'm pretty sure Downey only got nominated because he's red hot at the moment being in two summer blockbusters and finally made a comeback to the A-list. Since they obviously couldn't nominate him for Iron Man, they figured Tropic Thunder was the next best thing. And yea, Springsteen being snubbed for best song is total bullshit.
  16. You forgot BROCK LESNAR!
  17. I always had a soft spot for his Psycho gimmick with Daffney and Crowbar but yea, the guy absolutley sucked in the ring.
  18. Why is it Sweet Chin Music is more "deadly" than a regular Superkick, or Jake Roberts' DDT/Raven's Evenflow/Dreamer's DDT more effective than a regular DDT? This point can be made about any move that is used as a finisher. What if someone were to use a punch as a finisher?
  19. I was a huge fan of Victoria in 2003 with her Psycho gimmick and with Stevie Richards as her sidekick. She was also very good looking in this era and I thoroughly enjoyed both her woman's title reigns. Past 2004 though, the company just gave up on her and turned her into a directionless jobber. Age was starting to catch up with her as well so it's good to see her bow out gracefully.
  20. No love for Chris Farley, Lushus?
  21. I guess I'm the only one here who thought the Attitude era ended the night of Survivor Series 2001. That was the first time where I felt like the state of WWE was changing and hasn't been the same since. With the acquisition of WCW officially dead and the separation of the brands a few months afterwards, the aftermath of that PPV was the first time watching wrestling felt differently to me. Even after Austin's turn at WMX7, I felt the attitude era was still in full effect with Russo-esque crap like stalker DDP.
  22. Start: Survivor Series 1997 End: Survivor Series 2001
  23. I like hair metal just as much as the next guy but a lot of it was really, REALLY ridiculous. I won't lie and say that I didn't enjoy a lot of bands from that era but shit like Poison, Warrant, Ratt, Whitesnake, Winger and Cinderella is what makes the genre overall garbage to music fans. Stuff like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Twisted Sister (yes, screw you), Def Leppard, and borderline bands that can or can't be considered hair metal like GNR and Skid Row (Bach era only), is what I enjoy.
  24. I really liked last night's episode and really like where the Barney/Robing thing is going. Barney's character has really developed throughout the series from a heartless womanizer to a man falling in love for the first time.
  25. Oh my god, I literally had tears coming out of my eyes from laughing so hard at the "You ate a hamburger with extra cheese, extra mayonaise and extra ketchup" line towards Samoa Joe.
