PWI should be discontinued for spreading gossip like a 15-year old high school girl. the end. Ok, seriously. How can they know this, exactly? It seems to me like they're more or less perpetuating hate and negativity. So why are we listening and feeding off of it? People are suposssed to be better. than that.

To steal a quote from the Raw thread: Does anyone else have a problem with the lack of that for this? I mean, it's been a long while since WWE didn't do something right away. aThey could have had some brilliant, compelling television if they'd stretched out the turn over numerous weeks. Everyone knows that the better the buildup to something, the more compelling the pay off. It's like Vince thinks that fans have 5 second attention span now, and has conditioned them as such. Sorry to get off the topic of the thread, but that jsut really bothered me. As for Unforgiven I thought htey were going to do the ORton/Benoit rematch, but I guess not. I also don't think thwey'd give away Orton/HHH now(?). This leaves what, a face orton to square off against...newly heel turned Edge I guess.

Personally, I'm all for trimming the roster down and getting rid of guys that are jsut taking up space. Now, that just means they have to fire about a dozen more wrestlers

I was just making the point that the attitude era killed the slow burn. The last slow burn/good build up I can remember was the first Hart/Austin match at Survivor Series 1996. If I'm wrong anyone can feel free to correct me.

I think the only reason this is being asked is because honsestly RVD got the biggest reaction of any of the faces last night and he wasn't even on the show. In my opinion, both RVD and Booker T will retire before holding a WWE World Title. the only remote way I see this happening is if Booker retires soon and they give them the token "You're leaving so I guess we can" run.

Unforgiven is in Portland, Oregon this year, yes. As far as the main event, I could see them going with an Orton/Benoit rematch. it's totally possible.
