With the way Ramon Hernandez is playing and the lack of good backup Catcher, I can almost guarantee you Wieters is up with the Orioles later on this season. Especially if they can find a team at the deadline that wants Hernandez. Os got a good win today. Funny it was the same 2 pitchers that pitched last Wednesday when I was at Yankee stadium that resulted in an 8-0 pummeling of the Os and yet today Olson pitched well (and Rasner did as well) and the Os won 6-1. Go figure.

Hancock will end up #1 Will Smith + July 4th Weekend + Super Hero Movie + Big Promotion Budget = $$$$$. It has 16 days to itself basically (Meet Dave? Hellboy 2? Journey to the Center of the Earth 3d?) before Dark Knight opens but it will do huge enough business over the holiday weekend to make it #1. Those are basically the 2 biggest movies opening in July as well. No way X Files: I Want to Believe ends up at $170 million. I figure around $100 million because it will probably open at about 40-50 and drop off like a rock off a cliff. I'll give you the big bomb as well: The Incredible Hulk (People remember the last one whether or not its at all even close to this one at all and its up vs an M Night movie that will get more casual interest than the die hard comic book crowd that will still (?) go to see Hulk)

Some little punk kid got the last one, and I let him and his father in the door. Let that be a lesson on holding the door for kids. He also traded in a PSP, 2 nintendo games and 2 Memory Sticks for the PSP and got a whopping $110 for it all. The sales guy then hosed him on the disc replacement thing ($3) and the Game Crazy MVP thing (Just $3.50 today only!!!) and he ended up with like $9 left over. Poor kid.

Funny thing about the Os game I went to. Yeah, they lost 8-0, and it was cold and raining..but I sat through the whole thing with my GF. After the 8th inning, the guy sitting next to me got up and was leaving and he started talking about how he likes Camden Yards and all that and was asking how I liked it up here. I said aside from the pummeling I had a good time it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Then he offered me 2 tickets to last nights game on the 3rd baseline but I couldnt take em because we had plans for last night.

The New CD is ok. I used a $10 BB GC I had to buy it up here in NJ. The 2 bonus songs are ok but nothing special.

I wish I could have been at Yankee stadium tonight..darn it. And to think I thought the rain all day would have washed it out. Olson vs Rasner tomorrow night! I just walked out to get some ice with my hat on and got some real dirty looks from a couple of people haha
