Cabrera, Aybar...po-tay-to, po-tah-to. Aybar has a .339 OBP vs Cabrera's which was like .280 . Aybar also has 3 SB to Cabrera's 0 which made him a no brainer to pick up even though he might not hang around when Kendrick comes off the DL. I couldnt sit and watch Cabrera get 0 hits every night even though he's guaranteed to keep the 2B jon in Cleveland cause they dont have anyone to start behind him. Harley up there picked the wrong Cardinals OFer, as I just picked up (but wont be able to play til next week, argh) Skip Schumaker. .406 OBP, 467 SLG 16 Runs 3 SB 1 HR.

I think I got exactly 28 innings which helped me win saves and holds thanks to Millwood pitching well vs Boston. Too bad my offense has gone all to hell and I didnt win any offense categories. Ryan Braun struggling is probably making a ton of people curse him every day. I did make an improvement by picking up Erick Aybar for 2B.

The team thats playing tonight looks like a sub .300 team. Though points can be given for playing an injured catcher at 1st and Ensberg at 3rd for the first time this year. The yankees bullpen wouldnt scare a little league team either. the only reliever thats pitched well in this series is the guy they just called up Edwar Ramirez who pitched 2 scoreless innings last night after it was already 8-2. Hawkins gave up 3 runs last night and Ohlendorf gave up 2 tonight. Its JOBA time..hmm

My total commute daily to work is 14 miles. I last bought gas on March 23rd and I still have 3/8 (bars) of 11 gallons left in the tank which I can probably stretch to last one tank for an entire month. So really the gas prices at the pump aren't bothering me that much. Of course, I hardly ever go anywhere other than work so..

The Os only scored 1 run on Jose Contreras. Too bad Adam Loewen only gave up a 3 run HR to Thome. The Os offensive deficiency is now showing and it sucks.

Ive got 4 SP and one of them went on the DL (on Monday I might add..after I could edit my roster) Last week my pitchers tallied 50 IP and got me wins in all but the save category. But this week combine the loss of Bedard and only 1 of my other 3 SP getting 2 starts and its gonna wreck me this week unless theres a total miracle or something. This is why I hate the weekly rosters AND minimum pitching requirements. This happened to me at least twice last year, having one of my pitchers go on the DL after I could edit the rosters to pull him off the starting roster.

I did a quick search and Im not the first one to say that they should Replace Tazz with Larry Csonka.
