ICS = internet connection sharing in Windows technically maybe you could say my old computer is the router but I have no way to change any settings that are being thrown around to change to improve lag and whatnot because theres no router software, its just a little checkbox under the properties menu of my internet connection to enable ics. I dont even need Sprints software to logon because its treated like a dialup connection which is handled by windows like an old dialup modem. It was a pain in the ass to set up to get to work across all of the computers/stb/nintendo but it was worth it to save the $400 that sprint wants for a EVDO router and it only cost 10 bucks for the hub and maybe 30 for 3 runs of ethernet cable. Back on topic though, I was impressed with how it did go when I got it to work, though it was a bit hard to grasp the 1 second delay on button presses which caused problems early.

Raw/SD/IC/US pretty easy

Im not using a router. usb evdo modem plugged into old computer running ICS that has a ethernet hub attatched which is what im using to run the whole network here (2nd computer, Nintendo, Directv reciever and my laptop).

I got the online working for as long as I kept the same 3 people around and it was pretty low lag for about 10 matches and then they left and I couldnt connect to anyone again.

Im thankful no painted marvin pics were used.

I had 11 of the sweet 16 teams. I dont think very many people had Villanova or Michigan St (since Pittsburgh was the cool team to pick) so I dont feel bad about those but Purdue, Notre Dame and Kentucky (with their round 1 loss) ticked me off. I dont think there will be a bad game out of any of the next round of games, as WKU will probably give UCLA just as much of a scare as A&M did, and I think Davidson will probably beat Wisconsin.

Im trying to figure why I picked Memphis other than to have a rematch with Tennessee for the Championship.

I suppose you could "stream" in this league but really theres not that much talent on the waivers available to do it on a daily basis that would help that much since theres 20 teams. With only 4 bench slots you also dont have much room to change your lineup that much without waiver pickups and drops, and its not like the NBA where only a handful of teams might play on a given night, usually everyone is playing or off save for rare off days for some teams and 4 game series for others. Of course, the people who take this too seriously (raises hand) would be the ones to well because they will check and make changes daily. Its how Ive managed 6th place and playoffs in the NBA league. The only major reason that everyone would agree with for daily is that it alleviates the dreaded injury on monday that wrecks the whole week and potentially all of your pitching points if its a starting pitcher that gets hurt. With minimum IPs you usually cant afford to have a pitcher miss a start unless you're really lucky with your other pitchers. If you have 2 starters hurt, forget about it.

The Memphis game is a bit close for my liking but still not nail biting close so for all purposes alll of the late games are busts compared to the early games.

I have really good pitching and defense, but aside from Eric Davis and Joe Carter my team couldn't hit their way out of a wet paper bag. I made lineup changes for the games today (Eric Davis out of leadoff) and if that doesn't work, some heads will roll tomorrow.

Im not going to be able to cook cream of wheat at work now without having that image in my head. At least its not the same box.

Im not to fond of this..one of my upsets (Davidson) is down 4 but my runner up (Tennessee) is in a dogfight (heh, pun) with Butler, only up 4. Western Kentucky was one of my other upsets and they are winning.
