I was just thinking as well.. In retrospect I bet WWF kicks themselves repeatedly for not announcing Cena as returning at the Rumble when they get the buy rate in and its low. It was one of the biggest surprises in a long time considering they managed to keep it from being leaked, but at the same time I bet it could have pulled in way more buys if people knew about Cena being there.

Heres something else as Im watching the replay.. Guys that got hosed in the Rumble: Shelton Benjamin - he was in for like, less than 30 seconds and got unceremoniously kicked out by HBK after pulling that really cool leap to the top rope on Miz/Morrison. I think he just got took off the gold standard..I was seriously wanting to see Benjamin/Punk at WM after seeing it last Sunday at the house show here and in the span of a week Punk loses the ECW title and Benjamin gets tossed out like he's nothing.. Kahli - hes the biggest guy in the match and he gets thrown out by one guy almost as fast as Shelton did. But I think this is more of the product of Kahli fading out to nothing more than a sideshow low midcard joke that they can occasionally use because he's huge..which isnt a bad thing but at the same time they always hype up the concept that BIG guys have an advantage in the match and it wasnt the case.

Even with HD, I cant tell if HBK lost a tooth but I almost want to say thats what it was. And it was umaga that clotheslined Bob Holly out..

No truth to the rumor. Explain the picture/wallpaper on the No Way Out sub site of Jeff Hardy underwater in what clearly is the Elimination Chamber. Maybe it wont be the final 6 in the Rumble in the EC, but theres obviously going to be an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out.

Has anyone said anything about HBK. The blood under his nose was there for a good 2/3rds of the Rumble and when HBK left after he was eliminated he didn't waste any time to get to the back. I think it clearly happened when Bob Holly attacked him right after he got in.

Rumor has it that Circuit City is clearancing the A3's to $100 and they'll stop selling HD-DVD apparently within a short time frame. I imagine the discs would go on clearance as well. It shouldnt be too long before Best Buy does the same and then Id say its all but over for HD-DVD.

I dont want to say its all but a done deal but I think its about as close as it can get. Seattle nor Baltimore is saying anything but Adam Jones himself is saying hes going to Baltimore tomorrow for a physical and when he passes that the deal will pretty much be done. I question if Adam Jones is the best the Os can do for Bedard as the key player in return, but everyone is really high on him as being a big time player in a couple years. I just hope Orioles fans can sit through the next 2 years of Bedard pitching in Seattle and probably winning a Cy Young until he gets there, least he not get there and turn out to be a huge bust. Hopefully they can build around Jones/Markakis/Wieters on the offense side and Guthrie/Loewen/Patton in the pitching rotation. Lots of supposedly real good young talent (well, Markakis is proven and really good..he doesnt count) but it'll take 2 years to get here fully. Obviously the other shoe will probably drop as the on again/off again/on again trade saga of Brian Roberts to chicago seems to be on again. Im really going to miss Bedard too..

Anyone can announce intentions to run as a 3rd party but the problem is its really hard and expensive and a time consuming process to get on enough ballots to make it worthwhile. Though people will be begging for a 3rd party if it comes down to McCain and Clinton.

I was just thinking that Flair wins by DQ over MVP in a short match and then Vince gets mad and puts him in the Rumble #1. Flair lasts into the final 6 but doesn't win, but he gets a reprieve cause of the Elimination Chamber thing at No Way Out. Someone takes out Flair prior to the match which keeps him out of the EC, Vince claims Flair did it on purpose and if no one will retire him already, then he'll do it himself..so we get Flair vs Vince at WM.

I forked over the $50 for the HD show. It better be fucking outstanding. I was on the fence over ordering at all, but the Hardy/Orton unpredictability sorta sold it for me..not to mention Im also not sold on Taker or HHH being the Rumble winner. Its also pretty cool the countdown show is in HD.

All I know is Glenn Beck has the nerves to say things that lots of people are thinking but would never say in a million years for fear of being labeled a hatemonger or something worse..I mean: Of course, you cant say anything like that..cause if you do..you're a racist..you illegal immigrant hating legal american citizen! And you conspiracy theorist types..the only reason we're letting the illegal immigrants in with a free pass is because Mexico is the United States #2 supplier of Oil (and Canada is #1..bet you thought it was Saudia Arabia or Venezuela..huh?) and politicians are so fearful that if we crack down on the illegals and start sending them home that Mexico will cut us off from their 800+ million barrels of oil they send us. But the good news is Mexico's oil production is about to drop 60% by the end of this year which means..SURPRISE..less oil from Mexico and less reason to care about that little bargain..so I wonder what will happen..hmm?

First of all, how many people haven't watched any of the debates for the same exact reason? You're going to single him out because he actually says he has a life (which..ya know..I doubt) when other people would make bullshit excuses as to why they dont watch them and you'd be like..ok..whatever. Glenn has the 3rd most listened to radio show, now 2 NY Times Bestselling books (check out his current book, its good), and a successful tv program. I listened to him back in 2001/2002 when I lived in SC and when I came back to MD his show wasnt available to me on the radio (gee..a Conservative with a show in MD..ha). I didnt even know he was on XM until last year. Anyway, I dont think he's a pompous ass, but hes got millions of people (read: COMUNISTS) who hate him and try to turn everything he says into hatemongering just about everyone..so if all you know about him is what you read through them then sure..hes a pompous hagtemongering ass.

On keepers.. Say we go 3 years max. Team A has player X for 3 years but has to drop him the 4th year and Team B drafts Player X. Can Team A trade back for player X in season 4 from Team B and get 3 more years (supposing that Team B would go for such a trade) or would that be forbidden limited in anyway? similar scenario..Team A drops player X during season 3 and Player X is picked up but not designated a Keeper by team B, could Team A draft player X again in year 4 and would they get 3 more years? Im actually in favor of option B. Option C seems reversed to me if having limits on keepers makes any sense. I have to drop a low tiered player after 3 years but I can keep a 1rst round draft pick indefinitely?
