You cant get a decent plasma sub $1500.. LCD prices are good right now to where you could get a good LCD but Id go with a DLP. BB has a 32 inch LCD from Sharp thats 1080p for $1299, they also have a 50 inch 1080p Samsung DLP for $1599. You can get a 32 inch samsung 720p LCD for $799, but if you have $1500 you might as well put as much towards it for 1080p as you can, thus futureproofing your set as much as possible since 1080p is as good as HD gets for the foreseeable future and it will allow you to take full advantage of the PS3 when you get it.

Im going to see Sweeney Todd on Wednesday with my final $1 coupon since my theatre just did finally add a few showings this past weekend, stupid morons. From what I gather I would expect it to get a nominee in Best Picture/Actor/Actress/Director/Special Effects/Score though it probably wont win shit. I wonder if the Simpsons Movie will get nominated for best Animated Picture...it wont win (Ratatouille will) but that would be really wierd to have the Simpsons nominated for an Oscar. On the subject of Ratatouille Ive heard people saying it deserves outright picture of the year consideration..which I cant see happening but it was one of the best movies I saw in 07. Only other animated movie nominated for Best Picture was Beauty and the Beast.

the main camera was moved in further so that the widescreen HD cam captured the same amount of ring in the view as the old 4:3 cameras did, which means that the SD viewers get less ring on their screen. and since the wrestling isnt really protected for 4:3, Im sure there were a couple times where someone was doing something that was either partially or even completely off screen. and, Orton as champ beats HHH or Cena as champ so I'll take it and be happy for another 2 months.

First of all, dont be putting down CRT HD sets. They still have the best black levels (ie the color black is really black and not a shade of gray) and when properly calibrated they look every bit as good as an LCD or Plasma. That being said... Figure out how to work the audio to split it (headphones would be really gay) and you have the solution to "I wanna watch the football game" "Well I dont want to watch it so we aren't..." and I could have gotten a 1080p 47 inch Vizio LCD for $999 recently but I had to hold off unfortunately.

Mole, Im shocked youd say 90% of USA HD is stretched. NBC Universal doesnt stretch anything on any of their HD channels including Universal HD, USA HD, Sci Fi HD, CNBC HD, NBC HD or Bravo HD.

They need to ditch the scratch logo for the HD one in the lower left corner. all in all it was a good show HD means people need to get more creative with their signs since you can actually read 99% of them now..
