I turned $20 into $150 on video roulette (though I stupidly lost it right back on $5 blackjack) over the course of like..3 hours up in Harrington a while back. The best bet you can make that Ive had long term success with is either Red and the 3rd column or black and the 2nd column. Either basically covers 26 of the 37 (or 38 with 00) numbers. There are 8 red in the 3rd column and 8 black in the 2nd column (out of 18 for each color) increasing your odds of hitting both bets. You break even if you hit the color but not the column bet, make $1 if you hit the column but not the color and $3 if you hit both. You would only lose $2 if you manage to hit 1 of 11 numbers you dont have covered which is good odds not to lose on and a good way to be able to play long term. Ive never had the guts to do the one system where you take 35 bets (any increment you like $1 if you have $35, $2 for $70 etc) and play the exact same number each time. Supposedly you have a 60% chance of winning at least once in 35 spins and a single number bet pays 35:1 so youd have a 60% chance of winning your money back to keep on playing but in the long run youd probably end up leaving with nothing. Anyway, the house advantage is only 2.7% on a single zero machine (which is what I was playing) which is better than a lot of other games so I dont see how its that bad. I made $130 in 3 hours only to lose it all back in about 45 minutes at blackjack (which was a combination of my suckiness and the dealer hitting blackjacks at a rather astonishing rate)

Anything shot on film has more resolution than even HD so its possible that they could convert most of their library to HD, although it would be a painstaking process and by the looks of some of their library footage, the picture qualtiy has detoritated to the point where an expensive digital restoration would be required, and in some instances the quality was piss poor to start with but it could still be cleaned up. Not a cheap task and I doubt it would happen anytime soon, but its the logical next step, especially if Vince is considering what to do to preserve the library. I wouldnt see it out of the question to have a Wrestlemania HD Box Set out because that would probably be worth their time and money to do a full digital restoration into HD, and as a bonus it wouldnt require so many discs.

All I know is that I wont vote for a democrat no matter what, and of the republicans I like McCain the absolute least (then Huckabee,Thompson,Rudy,Ron Paul and Romney the most) so outside of Romney pulling some victories out Im not going to like either of my choices at all. Ive heard a little on Bloomberg and despite my worry he'd be too nanny stateish for me but I think he'd fall somewhere in the middle of the Republican pack preference wise and Id definitely vote for him over McCain or Huckabee. You know what I just realized..if they do any more SNME (which should be a given due to the writers strike and lack of programming) SNME would be in HD on NBC. Quite honestly, the WWF is moving towards being a leader in HD broadcasting, having programs potentially aired on 4 networks (USA/Sci Fi/CW/NBC) plus HD PPV and distributed on Blu Ray. There is a market for this and people with HD tvs will watch WWE programming even if they've never watched wrestling before because its in HD (especially given lack of new hd programming due to writers strike)..they might capture a few new fans with this. Its sort of a shame they no longer do any syndicated shows cause that would be an interesting test since syndicated HD isnt taking of so fast. the next question - when does 24.7 go HD?

Hopefully they'll have some sort of Titan Tron. it just wont be the god awful paralellagramatron.. Im actually envisioning the new set looking something like the SNME set. link to high res photo of the set not lit up really big tron, with the side panels, light up entrance way..and where the SNME logo is is where they could put the RAW/ECW/Smackdown logo. It wouldnt be that amazing but it would work within the confines of having to work for all 3 shows.

Anyone with Directv can get USA and Sci Fi in HD, and its believed the number of directv HD customers is between 2 and 3 million give or take. CW might be the bigger hold up, as only 11 (mostly major) markets have a CW affiliate in HD.

The only tax cut that will work is one that cuts the 35% corporate taxes to be more in line with the rest of the world (25% average) The US is #2 in the world, behind only Japan with higher corporate taxes. Of course, that will never happen..its a tax cut for the rich and everyone knows that when rich get tax cuts, they will just fatten their already burgeoning wallets some more cash so they can parade around and laugh at the little poor people..instead of you know..investing the money they saved in lower taxes in american jobs and factories like has been done historically in the US and other countries when the corporate tax is relatively lower. So instead, were going to raise taxes on the rich because by god they shouldnt be making so much money, which will only make them pull out of the US economy even further and take their companies and jobs to mexico and China.. If you all want an eye opene on the economy, read this. Yes, I know its that annoying Conservative hatemonger glenn Beck, but the man he is interviewing is the Comptroller of the United States and is probably one of the few people who people should be listening to on issues of the economy.

We're getting Punk/Benjamin this sunday at the SD/ECW house show Im going to, which makes me hopeful for Punk/Benjamin in the future, say at WM. We're also getting Edge/Batista (I guess Rey doesnt do house shows anymore), random diva crap, the same Tag Title match thats been happening for the last 2 months, Flair vs Mark Henry and I think Elijjah Burke has a match too.. Funny thing, the local paper hyped up the show on Sunday with a large full page picture of Tommy Dreamer and the caption "WWF WRESTLING RETURNS TO DELMARVA!" They've been hyping the show as the first time ever in Salisbury for Smackdown/ECW despite the fact we had an ECW only House show in August of 2006 and SD was here in 03 and Raw was here in 04.

All the other "issues" being jabbered about will be rendered comically irrelevant if the nation goes into another depression that could end up worse than 1929 if no one steps up and does anything about it now..

Im tempted to keep Burrell over Valverde cause with Burrell I can be more confident he'll put up similar numbers (hes been really consistent over the last 3 years around 30 hr, 90 rbi .500 slg and a .390 obp. Valverde worries me pitching in Houston. I dont really have any other pitchers I need to keep (Bedard/Vazquez/Nathan) should be enough and I could probably use the extra bat on the offensive side. I dunno..Ijust want to improve on my 4th place finish from last year and win the league this year.. Edit: better idea..Im going to keep Corey Hart, as his numbers are roughly the same except for steals and everyone loves steals! I'll have to think about this for a bit..
