Im a sucker for these big budget special effects driven disaster movies, so sue me. I can name at least 5 movies that will be worse than 2012, but I'll nominate the 3 Stooges Movie the Farrelly Brothers are doing that supposedly will be released in November, as its a disaster waiting to happen. Is that the one where some chicks from SNL play the grand daughters of the Stooges? If so... that's gonna be pretty bad. Last I heard is that the concept will be a 3 Stooges Original Short updated for Modern Times except they wont be the original 3 Stooges (they'll have different names and personalities), if that makes a lick of sense. The whole thing is being sold on the premise that 3 Stooges slapstick comedy is right down the Farrelly Bros alley, but why the hell do they have to use 3 Stooges for this ? There's been no cast information released, but I can't imagine what cast they could have that would make it better than absolute shit.

What does everyone think about the Ravens going after LT this offseason? The consensus is they aren't a bad choice considering they have Cam Cameron and maybe Lorenzo Neal to block for him for at least 1 year. Doubtful that the chargers would take McGahee back in the deal, so the Ravens would need to find a suitor for the disgruntled McGahee which doesn't seem likely so the whole thing isn't likely, but anyway. I also wonder about the long rumored Suggs for Boldin trade, which might be more appealing to both sides now. The Ravens wont be able to keep all 3 off Ray Lewis, Bart Scott and Suggs this offseason and I figure Ray Lewis will resign for a final time and Bart Scott or Suggs could be Franchises, but Suggs would have the most trade value and Boldin would fill a huge hole and give Flacco someone who he could throw his deep ball to.

Philips is putting into production a series of 21:9 Ultra Widescreen LCD TVs. 21:9 which is basically 2.33:1 ratio. Too bad that everything else in HD on TV and the like would have be stretched to fill up the screen..ugh.
