I saw a bevy of rumors on the Grindhouse release and the individual releases, the biggest of which was that both will be released seperately as SE extended cuts and then eventually they'll get around to releasing both together with the original theatrical version and a cleaned up theatrical version (no artificial wearing of the picture) as well as the "missing" reels and trailers that aired before each movie. Other rumors included a HD-DVD release and the inclusion of Machette in the Complete Grindhouse release as a bonus. Rodriguez will finish shooting Machette (already rumored to have about 40 minutes of footage shot just for the trailer) before getting to work on Sin City 2, so use that as a timeline for when Machette will be released. None of the other trailers will be given a full release. Interestingly enough, I learned that Disney still owns Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2 which ensures Blu Ray release for them sepeately, but the Weinsteins got the rights to "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" which is the uncut version with both movies together with an NC-17 rating (as pointed out above, probably mainly due to colorizing the b&w scene) which ensures a HD-DVD release of that since they support HD-DVD. Its been "in the works" forever which is why I almost broke down and bought both on sale, but I'll wait now that I know its out in Sept on DVD.

I wanna at least break even or close, I should catch you in Ks, SLG and HR, I might be able to tie W and SV.. None of my starters are actually winning. Putting up stats yes, but no wins. Capuano isn't pitching well as of late either. Im offering up Beltre and Capuano if anyone wants to make a deal.

Im going to snitch a post from the OH..but the Os really have a new Ace Starter in the rotation and its Jeremy Guthrie. 56.1 IP 11 ER 2-1 with 5 ND in 8 starts, 7 straight qualtiy starts. 5.0 IP 1 ER Loss 6.0 IP 1 ER Win 8.1 IP 0 ER ND 7.0 IP 1 ER ND 7.0 IP 3 ER ND 7.0 IP 2 ER Win 8.0 IP 1 ER ND 8.0 IP 2 ER ND On any other team that could actually score some damn runs or have a bullpen that could hold a close game, he could at least be 6-2 or 7-1. The only bright spot so far for the Os this season and hes a potential ROY candidate if he keeps pitching well despite the lackluster 2-1 record as a starter, 2.70 ERA and a .97 WHIP. Cleveland I bet wishes they hadn't just let a first round draft pick (2002) go for nothing like that..

Im watching AM raw for no reason and I just saw the promo for Dr. Steve-O, so theres your reason for him and the rest of em being on RAW and etc although Im sure someone mentioned that already. I guess I should have figured as much out though, USA using RAW to push their new shows. Maybe they can rehash the Austin getting run over thing and get Monk on the case, or whenever a wrestler is faking an injury they can get House to come in.. haha

Deathproof is getting a 2 Disc Extended Edition release seperately on 9/18 for what its worth, Ive not seen anything about a Grindhouse DVD release yet. I also saw theres a NC-17 Combined Version of Kill Bill (Kill Bill: Recut) coming out the same day (its listed on that same page) but thats for another thread, though I had been waiting forever for it so I wouldn't have to double dip.. Oh, and..haha..Machette is actually going to be released direct to DVD at the same time lol..

With the smothering levels of promotion it got during TNT's share of the NBA Playoffs, anything less than the whole fucking country tuning in is a failure. I mean, yowza. And what more is it than just a miscegenation of Everybody Loves Raymond and Family Matters, pre-Urkel? Believe it or not its the highest rated original sitcom for a cable network ever, not that theres been much to challenge it. They already have 100 episodes too, so its a good thing it didnt flop. I bet the Bill Engvall show beats it though just because the number of people that watch the comedy central specials is larger than 6 million.

Tyler Perry's House of Shi..er..Payne got 6 million people to watch it for an hour on TBS..it cant be too hard to do a sitcom that would have success. Sitcoms are the next reality show..people wanna laugh!

Panasonic's got a nice BR player coming out on the 17th that has a load of features and comes with 5 movies in the box ('Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl,' 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,' 'The Transporter,' 'Fantastic Four' and 'Crash.') for the wonderful price of $599. Tempted, but like a lot of people it seems they're hedging bets on the dual format player from Samsung this july..or not july..hmm..

This is only his 3rd start since he went on the DL early in the season though his 2 starts off the DL have been much worse than before he went on the DL.. Id take him back in the rotation now in a heartbeat in Burres' spot since Burres being in the rotation has screwed the bullpen up the most by robbing it of a long reliever.

I bought a Yaris which gets 35-38 mpg and I live 7 miles from work and most of that 7 miles is on the highway. My little contribution to everything. It was only $14,000 which is roughly half of the cost of a Toyota Hybrid model while still getting better gas milage than just about every non-toyota car out there by at least 5 mpg. When I have to be to work at 4 am I buzz down 50 about 80 since theres no traffic or cops out..otherwise I end up doing about 65 when its 55. The 13 bypass is 65 and people end up going 75 on that..its always fun being next to a tractor trailer doing 75 in my feather weight of a car. Im not 100% sure but I think maryland must have a 10 mph leeway on the speed limit, though they do like busting out of towners coming back from Ocean City right out where I live. And if I get busted for speeding..then it'll probably slow me down cause I cant afford my insurance to go back up again.
