I was pretty close to buying a PS3 while I was out to best Buy given that A) The PS3 qualifys for 18 months no interest B) I have a $50 gift card and C) They have a Buy 3 Blu Ray movies and save $20 deal. I could have gotten 3 movies and a game for about $90 to go with the PS3..but I opted to just get the nintendo Component cables instead..hmm..

and now Marvin owns a snazzy set of $20 cables since Best Buy apparently realized they couldnt sell the knockoffs for $60 when they're selling the official Nintendo cables for $35. I was going to buy the official cables, but $15 is $15, and I didnt even spend $35 on my HDMI - DVI cable that I needed and I cant imagine theres $15 worth of difference between the knockoffs and the official cables. The colors are better and you can tell the picture is progressive and not interlaced as Im playing Madden. Had to callibrate my Component 2 input though since it hasn't ever been used and the picture was all off..but good now. My Best Buy also had one lowly Nintendo sitting there looking all lonely. ONE! So if your in the Salisbury MD area and want one..maybe you can get one.

The technology for 1080p displays hasnt been around that long, and 1080p content is limited to BR discs since no cable/sat company has the bandwith to push 1080p content, ever probably.

Please tell me they didn't. They did..comeon..its UNC, they were #5 in the country and it pretty much solidifys them going to the tournament. They're on quite the roll too..they;re finally back to playing as well as they were when I called them better than the terps team that won the national championship in 2002.
