Schools are getting nailed left and right on the obesity thing, although I think its funny that schools were required to remove sodas from vending machines but allowed to replace them with sports drinks like gatorade that have almost the same amount of suigar in them as sodas. and our school, it was for the cafeteria pizza so no one ever got excited over it...

The Ravens are losing players left and right Tony Pashos (OT) to Jacksonville 6 years 24 million Ovie Mughelli (FB) to Atlanta 5 years 18 million (biggest contract ever for a FB) Aubrayo Franklin (reserve player, who quite frankly I have no clue who he is) to SF for 3 years 6 million Plus whatever Adalius Thomas gets from the Patriots They resigned Jarret Johnson for 3 years 13 million to replace Thomas. With their salary cap as tight it is, there wasnt anyway they could afford em..its nice to see guys like Mughelli and Pashos who are average at best getting big huge deals..I'll chalk this up to Ozzie Newsome knowing what hes doing.

I think he'll have to keep showing up on RAW to further the WM match, and he'll have to probably defend the title on ECW. Hes definitely worth $5 million, moreso than any of the others that are at that price. This should be an interesting week..theres a lot of known matches to pick for but there could be a few surprises.. hmm..

I think you mean holds, although I might use my last pick on somebody for that that I have my eye on. And I took Joe Nathan in the 2nd round and Valverde in the 10th will be a steal considering that guys like Eric Gagne went way further ahead of him.

I was gonna take him later..hes not gonna play vs lefties so his #s should be up in some cats (.avg/obp) and down in others (sbs specifically) Im likely to end up punting the SB cat entirely, and why Im putting emphasis on getting 2 good closers for saves and trying to pick pitchers with good K potential

I picked the right week to have Lashley and Kennedy! Yay and such, even though its all probably too little too late.

The Orioles had a combined 1 hitter on the Marlins winning 3-0. Eric Bedard pitched extremely well which makes me happy. Tomorrow, the Os play the Nats in the first game ever for the Orioles on MASN TV. Historic and stuff. Im working but Im recording it to watch when I get home.

Meltzer. If 'nobody knows who Lance Russell is', then why not, I don't know, EDUCATE THEM. Have Lawler do a three-minute piece talking with Russell about his career, showing clips and letting people see who Russell was and what he did, and finish off with letting people know Russell will be inducting Lawler. It'd sure get over what Lawler's done to the casual WWE audience, most of whom probably don't really know what Lawler has done to warrant being the HoF in the first place. In Man on the Moon (the Andy Kaufman movie) Lance Russell had a cameo as the ring announcer and I think it was supposed to be Lance Russell that JR was playing. as far as the HOF, is there an actual physical HOF somewhere? IF there was one like the Baseball or Football HOF that people could actually visit and all..that might make it more credible.

The Ravens need a durable guy that can carry the ball 25-30 times a game and from everything Ive heard, he's the top guy in the draft for that need.

I hope theres a really good logical explanation to why Austin is picked as the Guest Ref. since he hasnt even been on TV since WM 21. In fact, Id mark out if the Board of Directors go "Well, Steve is in a Movie that WWF Films is releasing and we need the publicity for the Movie, so thats why we've picked him as the guest referee.."

I think the possibility of Ready 2 Rumble on the Nintendo is awesome (They just announced new Ready 2 Rumble game will be coming out sometime for all the next gen platforms). The arcade style/play combined with the controls should be awesome, much more so than a realistic game like Fight Night.

Im not celebrating anything..I just figured Id mention it. Its a complete and total coincidence that Im ending up back there next friday, as I had no say in the matter of where we go for the thing for work.

My upconverting DVD player is HDMI only but it works with the dvi - hdmi cable. My inputs: DVI - DVD player Component 1 - Nintendo Component 2 - HD Tivo I posted that cheap HDMI switcher in this thread although I dont know if its still available or not. They are otherwise expensive.

Its obvious they want to tap the international markets without having to ship RAW/SD wrestlers around the globe every other month, which is probably really costly and wears down the wrestlers that make the trips. and Im sure those with WWF 24/7 would be able to see something..
