The Ravens didn't really lose anyone of major importance, although it hurts to lose Trent Smith just a little but they already had 3 TEs (Heap/Jones/Wilcox). He'll probably be picked up quickly as he had a promising preseason..

Dish should have put it up earlier, when NFL network was airing Preseason games..

They are using the actual Joliet Prison as the set, it was in use until 2002. They obviously made a few changes, but I think thats one of the things that makes the show. Also, it only lasts 13 episodes (11 more) so I figure if they want to draw out the escape into next season, they could... The problem is that its going to be off for almost all of October due to baseball. However, FX will be running a marathon of the first 7 episodes in October like the week before the new episodes start airing. Then the remaining episodes air, and then 24 starts in January. I've got to say that Prison Break is the perfect show to occupy 24's time slot, as its paced about the same and has the same feel to me.

Directv's ABC Fall Preview which runs for the rest of Sunday has Season 1 condensed into 22 minutes for those who missed it. Its on channel 101.

Im loving Prison Break so far. Its a good first half of the season fix in lieu of no 24. Really, the 3 alien/creatures shows are the only new fresh drama shows aside from Prison Break, but its bad that they all had to show up at the same time. The rest of the new dramas are all patterned off shows that are still on or were canceled recently. Bones is just CSI with Fossils as evidence for instance. Having the Tivo is sure making my life a lot easier, especially on Mondays. All the new Sunday fox shows Im gonna have to tivo due to the Ravens playing on Sunday Night Football.. I dont get WB, and I refuse to watch anything on ABC until my local affiliate decides they want to show stuff in HD. Oh, and Directv has graced my box with Fall Previews of FOX, NBC and ABC (The first season of Lost in 22 minutes is really fun to watch, as it shows all the important things that happened to catch people up who missed it last year/ too cheap to buy the DVD, although it didn't make me want to watch season 2 that much). The CBS sneak peak airs starting the week of 9/12, so hopefully I'll see that in time enough to make a decision about Threshold.

Reviewers are saying that EHC is one of the top 3-5 new shows this season, although sticking it on Thursday is going to have it canceled due to low ratings before the year is over..

I just really wish that they could simulcast an HD feed over on Universal HD like they are doing with Tennis.

Bleh..its not like you aren't going to get to watch it at all. It will air at some point..probably in a better time slot than 8pm on a friday.. -- My TIVO has 8PM Shelter from the Storm 9PM Friday Night Smackdown - (2005) 3 titles on the line, steel cage match, bull rope match, Orton vs The Undertaker 10PM Orioles @ Mariners --- My guess is, Taker vs Orton doesn't happen (I dont even think it was announced as a match, but a confrontation). Im assuming the 3rd title match was going to be a US Title match? That probably wont happen..They can get those 3 big matches in an hour, so I wouldn't worry about it. It will probably make for a better show anyway if theres no filler.

Well they might as well.. they used to be about twice the size as they were the last time I had them and they weren't that good. They have really good regular french fries as well as the curly fries, which everyone seems to like.
