Sitting here watching the Steelers struggle vs the same team that the Ravens manhandled last week has me very optimistic about the Ravens chances next week as well.

Cena to RAW makes no sense, Orton to Smackdown doesn't either. The ECW PPV will also be a joke. Not to mention the fact that they will try to pull off 3 PPVs in 4 weeks. Marvin Jenkins and his 7 years between playoff appearances seems to be kicking in (2007/2014/2021???) but I dont want to jinx it so early in the season. And besides, he'll suck if he does make it (0-3 with a 7.23 ERA in 4 playoff games) Also its good news that he finally tied Lebeau for 4th most wins. I wonder how many more years a 36 year old knuckleballer can pitch? It would be awesome to see Marvin get to 300 wins, but its probably not gonna happen.

I'll almost definitely see King Kong...although I swear, if they bring out the "KING KONG IS THE BIGGEST MOVIE..." lines...I might change my mind. I might go see Batman begins, and I might wait for it on DVD. I dont think theres any other movies that I know of now that I want to see.

Im desperately hoping that they make the Prequel...The Hobbit. I read that book first and never read the other books until after I Saw the movies, but I want to see The Hobbit get the same treatment as the other 3 books.

The Orioles are going after Burnett but I doubt it will happen and I doubt he'll pitch well in the AL at Camden Yards. So, it looks like the Orioles are going to sign no players unless they go after Carlos Beltran and overpay for him, which wont happen eitheer. There was also a rumor about the Os trading Julio and Hairston for Sosa but the Orioles aren't willing to pay the $35 million left on Sosa's contract. And Id rather them not make any moves than go after Sosa.

I Want a definition of "Legit". Hes rarely going to be put in the position where he needs to throw the ball for over 250 yards, nor does he have the recievers to actually help him out in doing so. The Ravens run the ball first and foremost, whether its Jamal or Chester Taylor. The format is the same one they used to turn Trent Dilfer into a Super Bowl winning QB. He's a legit QB in the Ravens system but he's never going to put up numbers like Peyton Manning is. Sadly as well, I would go as far as to say that he would be even better on another team that had better recievers and less of a commitment to the running game. Also, Todd Heap coming back after missing 2+ months gives him a go to reciever that they didn't really have while he was out. Hopefully that will make a big difference..

Hassan almost has to face Foley. Kane and Snitsky pretty much either has to happen or Kane comes back and beats up Snitsky durring a match. Benjamin vs Maven would make for an ok IC Title match on such a throwaway PPV card. I have no idea who Regal and Eugene could defend the titles against. Probably, they'll just do a six man with Lita teaming up with them vs Capn' Charisma/TT/Trish. Simon Dean vs Rosey...should be the heat match. The EC match better be the greatest match ever and even then I can't see it saving such a bad show. I WAS considering ponying up the $88.95 and ordering the first 3 PPVs on Directv but don't care anymore.

Im shopping the whole day, and then coming home just in time to see the Ravens/Colts game on ESPN at 8:30. The Ravens have to either win this week or next week..maybe they can win both but I doubt it.

He won a golden globe for Man on the Moon, which honestly conflicts me because he performance as Andy Kaufman was spot on but the movie wasn't really that great. I figure he'll at least get nominated for an Academy Award but he'll more than likely never win one.

The only person who would miss the D-Rays if they were contracted: Personally, I figured that Peter Angelos would be more of a problem that the DC Council but at least maybe PA will get his wish without really having to be the bad guy. I have a feeling that they'll still play at RFK but instead of playing in DC in 4 years they'll be playing in Northern VA. If you'll remember, the Northern VA group to bring a baseball team there had proposed a stadium that would be fully funded without taxpayer dollars so the whole issue at hand currently with DC wouldn't be an issue there.

I still could care less about Sega cause they wouldn't support the gamecube with their sports games. EA on the other hand does, so at least it didn't go the otherway where SEGA got the exclusive rights and then Id have no NFL games to play for the next 5 years.

Directv is supposedly making their own DVR available next year that would allow for on demand service so Im hopeful that actually makes it out. Currently the tivo based DVRs can't be used for OD programming. But, the bad news is that the new DVR box won't be a TIVO based box like other Directv DVRs out now. So its sort of a toss up..

My Blockbuster has a homemade "WHY SHOULD YOU CHOSE WIDESCREEN OVER FULL SCREEN" poster with similar screencaps of movies in both formats that get posted on here every time we have the WS vs FS debate, to show the idiots that still chose full screen why it sucks. They carry about 80:20 in favor of Widescreen but most of the time all the FS versions are gone....

I do blockbuster Online. 3 DVDs out plus 2 free instore rentals (i use them to rent games for a week that normally cost $6) for $18. They just changed the distribution center from NC to MD (instate for me) and Im getting movies faster now. I estimate in 3 months since I've had the service I've gotten about 35 movies. 12 movies a month x $5 a rental = $60 worth of movie rentals + $12 worth of game rentals = $72 worth of rentals for $18. Other people complain they aren't getting enough movies out and how its slow, but I see what Im getting as a really good deal. As for the no more late fees...they probably won't have any video games since its essentially 2 weeks now instead of 1 week. Which makes my 2 free rentals from the online rental service even better... And I wonder..how much would Blockbuster charge to buy a game? Because a lot of people who rent games before they buy them would have incentive not to return it and outright buy it if the game was priced comparibly to retail ($50 - $6 rental fee instead of $50 + $6 rental fee)...and if a person decides to buy the movie/game..do they get the box?

SEGA could jump on an exclusive deal with the NCAA for Basketball and Football..that wouldn't be nearly as expensive and they would probably be able to keep selling the games for $20. Not that I care as long as Sega doesn't want to support the Gamecube.

They do diet Coke with lime is actually pretty good although I cant really drink a lot of it at one time.

EA already signed an exclusive deal with NASCAR so it wouldn't surprise me if they went ahead and did the NBA and MLB. Let the other companies battle it out over hockey games.
