Safeco field has a retractable dome. I think it was closed, but there were still openings to the outside. -

Yippee ! Hooray ! Its Smackdown is WAR! -
The rating for the Huff debut was HORRIBLE considering Showtime did a free weekend with a media blitz to promote the fact that HUFF was debuting that weekend and people could watch it even if they didn't get Showtime. I've been getting Showtime for free for 6 months (up in February) and I can safely say that I would not spend the $12 a month directv wants for it.

Take your PSP to school and get arrested for taking a weapon to school, and get it confiscated til the end of the year.... HA.

Big Show beats JBL at SS/NWO with an F-5. Brock storms in the ring pissed off because Big Show is using the F-5 and they end up with a match at Wrestlemania.

Damn people for actually having a life that might *GASP* miss an episode! Learn to program a VCR/DVD burner...or get a Tivo. And people think the box sets of TV shows are crazy, but if you think about it, although a lot of the popular DVDs right now are in syndication (Simpsons, Seinfeld), but they are edited down versions with extra commercials. The only way to see the originals is to have a tape of them from the original airing or get the DVDs. I really dont mind plopping down $25-40 for season sets of shows that I like (24 and the Simpsons right now, Id get X Files if they weren't STILL $80+ a piece)

The latest big rumor is Sosa and his big contract for Julio/Gibbons/Hairston. As far as Im concerned they better not do that trade, as it truly rings of Albert Belle version 2.0, but at this point it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't pull the trigger on the trade just to make some sort of deal since the Steve Kline thing is the biggest move they've done (just narrowly edging out resigning Surhoff).
-
At least the Os didnt Non tender Hairston and Gibbons like everyone was saying they were going to do.
-
BJ Ryan is obviously getting moved to the closer role and they will trade Julio. At least thats what it looks like to me.

Can I get shot in my side?

that little line in the middle is there so you can, you know..cut them in half.

They should do away with Huff while they are at it.

Foley vs Hassan in a Guantanamo Bay Imprisonment fight. But of course, thats RAW. -
For the NFC, the Rams have almost no shot since they would have to have a better record than the Saints and the Panthers since they both beat the Rams. It looks like the week 17 game between the Saints and the Panthers could determine that last NFC Wild Card..
-
Im going to Email ESPN so they can fix their playoff scenarios and stop spreading lies that the Jags are in the playoffs as of right now.
-
At least I know at least for 1 more week that the Ravens still have the final wild card based on the fact that they have a 3-2 division record vs the Jags 2-3 record. If Houston can beat the Jags again...even if they beat the Raiders and even if the Ravens lose to the Steelers, as long as the Ravens beat the Dolphins and neither the Bills or Broncos win out (hopefully the Steelers can beat the Bills and the Broncos lose to the Colts) than the Ravens would have the final wild card based on a 3-3 division record vs the Jags 2-4 record. My head is about to explode.
-
ESPN's standings are WRONG! W/L/T/Div. Record/Conf. Record 5. Jets 10 4 0 3-2 7-4 6. Jaguars 8 6 0 2-3 5-5 Ravens 8 6 0 3-3 5-5 Broncos 8 6 0 3-4 5-5 Bills 8 6 0 3-3 5-6 The Ravens are 3-2 in their Division. Wins vs Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincy and losses vs Cleveland and Cincy. They should be ahead of the Jags! The Broncos are also 3-3 in their division.
-
I wouldn't go that far - they play Houston next week, a team that beat them earlier in the season, and at Oakland in 2 weeks. All I know is the Ravens aren't making the playoffs.
-
So technically the Ravens are behind the Jags for the last wild card in a 4 way tie. The Ravens have the tiebreaker with the Bills and Denver.. but The Jags have to play houston and oakland which is the easiest of the 4 teams.. Cogratulations to the Jaguars on making the playoffs (its pretty much a lock) and a chance at the home field in the super bowl...
-
Well damn. At least the Ravens didnt give up the record. small consolation prize.
