Get a real video card too, that will help some. I've got a new computer with a 64mb integrated video card and it sucks ass, it wont play anything AND it takes 64 mbs up, so instead of having 512 mbs available, its only using 448.

I posted this a while back over in LSD.

I have a Samsung 30 inch Widescreen HD TV and an ILo DVD Recorder/80 GB Hard Drive. Eventually Im going to get the Directv HD reciever to go with it. I have no need for a 5.1 Surround system because the room the TV is in is too small as it is (although perfectly sized for a 30 inch Widescreen TV) and the TV has rather nice built in speakers.

At least the citizens of Miami can rest safely tonight knowing that a pissed off OJ isn't roaming the streets...

WORST CASE SCENARIO! oh wait.

A 4 TD lead in the first half for USC. ABC must really hate that.

So I figured I would start up a thread for the much antipicated return of my (and several others here) favorite show on TV for a 4th season. Just a reminder about the fact that theres a new timeslot (Mondays at 9pm) as well as the fact that the Season Premiere of 24 being considered a "2" day - "4" hour event, this Sunday and Monday from 8-10pm. Then the following Monday, 24 will be back in its regular timeslot for 20 straight weeks with no (planned) interuptions. Luckily I have the Fox feed out of LA, so I can watch RAW and then watch 24 at Midnight, otherwise I would ditch the last hour of RAW without blinking. Im sure everyone is familiar by now with the cast changes and stuff...otherwise I would recomend reading this article for a bit of an idea of what will be in store this season. Im more excited for this season than I was for last season (the extra 3 months of buildup have helped up my anticipation). I dont exactly know about having 4 hours in 2 nights but it should be good.

Ravens are going to have a time at home next year not counting division games.. Home - Houston, Indianapolis, Green Bay, Minnesota, N.Y. Jets Their away schedule is a bit better.. Away - Jacksonville, Tennessee, Chicago, Detroit, Denver
-
Id like to see the Ravens trade up and get Mike Williams (if he's eligible for the draft this year) since he's probably the best WR in the draft even though he hasn't played in a year. And Cavanaugh had to go so thats good news.

FOOSTER ENTERS HIS SECOND DECADE
MarvinisaLunatic replied to Art Sandusky's topic in No Holds Barred
I thought this was like basic stuff.. Decade - noun - a period of 10 years, For example: 1991-2000 (technicaly 2000 was still in the 90's) Fooster was born in 1985...so: January 3, 1985 - January 2, 1995 = 1rst Decade January 3, 1995 - January 2, 2005 = 2nd Decade January 3, 2005 - January 2, 2015 = 3rd Decade He's starting his 3rd Decade, not his 2nd. -
There arent that many teams out there that can afford that, which makes me believe that theres no way that the final deal he gets will be anywhere close to that. I doubt he'll even get a 7 year contract.

I live near a ton of chicken houses (primarily because this is where the Corporate Headquarters for Perdue is as well as a couple processing plants) and I can say that I could care more about how chickens are killed, but Im not going to. I would say a good 1% die because they manage to get off the trucks as they are moving on the highway and get splattered. Chickens quite frankly, are stupid.

Weekend boxoffice report Dec 31 - Jan 2
MarvinisaLunatic replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I saw it last week, and while it was funny, it wasn't as funny as the original. My main problem was that most of the jokes seemed "telegraphed" and they also seemed really forced. The crazy thing is that its made more money in 12 days than Meet the Parents did in its entire US release. -
Well I have.. Simpsons Seasons 1-5 24 Seasons 1-3 Seinfeld Seasons 1-3 Buffy Seasons 1-3 X Files Season 1 The First Season of X-Files is on sale at Amazon for $35. I always said I would wait until it dropped in price from the $80+, and hopefully the other seasons will fall in price too now that they are all out. Also,..As much as I like Buffy, Im probably not keeping up with it unless I can find the sets really cheap...

Im all for Utah winning, and it would be interesting to see them get the shutout, but this game is boring the hell out of me. 28-0 now.

Randy Johnson : vs the Orioles all time: 5-7 4.36 ERA in 22 games @ Oriole Park 2-3 4.50 ERA in 7 games --- I've also read that the Orioles are interested in getting Vazquez from the D-Backs for Gibbons, Matos and Bedard. It would be hillarious for him to end up back in the division, and Im all for the trade if it happens. Plus, Vazquez pitched A Ball here for the Expos Affiliated Shorebirds in 1996..

That was actually a pretty damn good game.

What I dont get is why Michigan let the clock run down to :02 when they had 2 time outs. They should have used their timeouts to at least leave them a shot at a kick return or something instead of conceding that the game is won/lost on this FG.. and the FG is...the kickers been iced not once but twice.. and now.. The FG is.. GOOD Texas wins.

I think I accidently threw out my remote
MarvinisaLunatic replied to treble's topic in No Holds Barred
I got those little tags that you can stick on things and then theres a keyring like thing that if you lose one of the things that you stuck the tag to, you can press the button and it will beep constantly until you find it. -
I fell asleep at 9:30 last night watching TV.
