Know what's pathetic? I've actually run across MAGIC: THE GATHERING tournaments on ESPN2... My new favorite on ESPN is the EXTREME Table Tennis. The players have entrances like in wrestling and rather large crowds for Ping Pong, err.. Table Tennis.

I Dont want to get into a "NASCAR isnt really a sport" debate, but Auto Racing Durability at a 4.38 is way too low. DURABILITY: The ability to withstand physical punishment over a long period of time. Example: NBA/NHL players. Most drivers spend anywhere from 3-5 hours in a 100+ degree car, not to mention fighting the steering wheel of a bad handling car which will tire the arm muscles. Dehydration used to be a factor although they do get water during pit stops, but still most drivers are physically spent after a race and its not because they are out of shape. I can't believe that Skateboarding, Surfing, Diving, Field Hockey, Water Skiing and Horse Racing (all with higher durability ratings) require more durability than Auto racing.

Im sure that the 3.1 for the draft is an average of the whole 8 hours as a whole, which means that there were probably ten times more people watching it during the first round then the last round on saturday. They've been beta-ing G-Mail out to people with active blogger accounts since Google owns Blogger, but I haven't heard anything about it yet. Yahoo was nice a couple weeks ago, as now all the junk mail that goes into your bulk folder doesn't count towards the 6mb of storage. I get about 5 real emails a day vs about 200 spam emails a day (my bulk folder has 2,000 emails in it now since I don't have to worry about cleaning it out due to space limits) so I don't think Im going to bother.

You know its funny. I got a nice glossy photo of Bush sitting in an office signing something, from the Replublican national Committee thanking me for "my support of the RNC" and giving reasons why I should "continue to support the RNC" such as making Bush's tax cuts permanent, energy conservation to decrease foreign dependence for energy sources (?) and homeland security. Then they bash the Democrats for a couple paragraphs before closing that they want me, "a RNC supporter" to donate $25-$100 in a part of their Grassroots campaign to generate $4.1 million dollars that they need over the next 3 months in order to help Bush win re-election. I was puzzled why I got this, and then I realized that this is supposed to give me a good laugh because A - I've never supported the RNC (although my dad is aRepublican, I seriously doubt he would donate any money to the RNC being the tightwad that he is) B - Im a registered Independent Its pretty cool to know though that if I don't send them money that they might not make the $4.1 million they need to help Bush get re-elected. As for the glossy photo, I shredded it up in a paper shredder.

This Os/Mariners game is like watching paint dry. Not even through the 2nd inning (over an hour to play an inning and a half) and Gil Meche has thrown 70 pitches, but its only 1-0 Orioles. Matt Riley has a high pitch count too.

Im convinced Sakai lost because of that ice cream. That would have been appreciated by Japanese Tasters, but not here. And I've hated Flay ever since he jumped up and down on his cutting board. If I ever met him I'd probably want to slap him in the head with a cutting board.
