  1. Gamecube : WWE DAY OF RECKONING!!!!!!!
  2. I found this tidbit through a non-traditional news source so take it for what its worth. Interesting Article on JBL, Austin tidbit at the bottom..
  3. Actor David Lander, known to generations of TV watchers as "Squiggy" from the '70s sitcom "Laverne and Shirley," is scouting for the Seattle Mariners in Southern California, AP reports. I don't know why I find that funny..
  4. I was thinking Goldberg could come back and spear JON HEIDENREICH. And I wonder if anyone will use an atomic drop on Hirohito?
  5. I'm predicting they go all out on the WW2 theme. HIROHITO - Japan JON HEIDENREICH - Germany CHUCK PALUMBO - Italy WORST.GROUP.EVER.
  6. Im still in when it gets around to me..just in case anyone was wondering
  7. Am I the only one that finds the Irony in Orton wrestling Edge (who has a cast on his arm)?
  8. speaking of Lance Cade, I just somehow noticed that his head doesn't really match the rest of his body.
  9. When I was a kid, at 10 am on Sunday, I was either in church or still in bed so I don't know about this whole "aimed at kids" thing.
  10. Its pretty obvious that HHH will interfere in the Benoit/HBK match in 2 weeks. I smell THE SUPER ULTRA LAST NO MORE EVER ENCOUNTER Triple threat match on a RAW in the near future.
  11. Might be a redneck if: You think TACO BELL is the Mexican Phone Company. Ohh..this one hits close to home.. You think watching professional wrestling is foreplay.
  12. hmm, but Choken's been doing it longer..
  13. Orioles are on a 10 game homestand, 3 vs Tampa, 3 vs Toronto and 4 vs Seattle. I can almost smell a 14 game winning streak...sniff sniff..well maybe not, but out of the 10 they should go no less than 7-3.
  14. Full Article So there are at least 4 formats although 2 of them probably won't see the light of day in the US..they didn't learn after all the confusion between the different recordable DVD formats did they? My guess is that Sony's offering, which isn't going be backwards compatible, won't be sucessful in the U.S. I figure whatever Microsoft backs will be the most sucessful, even though its not maxed out as far as storage (only 30 GB vs 50 for Blu-Ray) but it uses a red laser and compression on the discs to store more data meaning its backwards compatible. People are going to want something to play back all the movies they've bought over the last several years instead of having them rendered useless on the new players.
  15. Im reminded of "Written by: David 'Watch Futurama' Cohen" from ToH IX although that was right around the time that Futurama was starting. I didn't really see anything wrong with last nights episode, although it wasnt funny, but none of the episodes have been that funny this year so it was normal.
  16. I dont get why they didn't get a look a like. The guys in the van wouldn't know what Chapelle looked like probably, which would have bought them at least a little bit of time before Saunders figured out that it wasn't Chapelle, if he even knows what Chapelle actually looked like. And oddly enough, they are doing the look-alike thing next week with Kim.
  17. I hear dead people.. oh..wait.. *hums and walks away quietly*
  18. If Im not mistaken, the only time I remember that being done aside from the finales was when Mason went down in a blaze of nuclear glory last year. Im still trying to figure out why Saunders had so many guards guarding a call router...
  19. The thing is though that they are actually working with 3rd parties now and there's some evidence to show that they are going to back up the talk this time with their next console. As for results, F-Zero and SC II were pretty good games, SC II some recognized as being better than the XB/PS2 counterparts. Im surprised Donkey Konga is getting a U.S. release, but Namco supposedly will be working on a traditional DK game. But I don't think that the actual results of their new efforts to reach out to 3rd parties will be seen until the new console comes out. Supposedly they are going all out to make it easy to program for so that should be a big help.
  20. Heres how I look at it: Brian Roberts - off to a slow start (he might get bounced when Hairston comes back) Melvin Mora - off to a decent start although not as good as last year Miguel Tejada - slow start, although hes getting hits but only 1 HR and 3 RBI Rafael Palmeiro - off to a good start Javy Lopez - O's hottest player, 13 game hit streak going back to last year Jay Gibbons - O's coldest player, not looking real good at the plate David Segui - not injured yet which means hes doing better than expected as DH Luis Matos - decent at the plate, doing wonders in CF defensively Larry Bigbie - slow start, but hes got some pop in the 9th spot in the lineup As for the Pitching, its too early to put much judgement on the Starters, but the Bullpen has been very effective. If the bullpen can remain as effective as its been, then Im not so worried about Riley/Ainsworth/Dubose/Bedard.
  21. 33. Andy Kaufman Well, Im shocked...
  22. The Yankees are just lucky that the Blue Jays stink worse than they do or they'd be in last place.
  23. To show how much improvement the Orioles have had so far over past 6 years First 10 game Record: 2004 : 6-4 ------- 2003 : 4-6 2002 : 2-8 2001 : 4-6 2000 : 5-5 1999 : 3-7 1998 : 8-2 1998 was the year after they won the Wild Card, and the first year of their 6 years in 4th place. I know its only 10 games but getting off to a good start this year is an improvement over what they've done the last few years.
  24. Nothing? Im going to assume he meant finish in 3rd place. So... Nothing? Considering the Orioles have finished in 4th place the last 6 years in a row, 3rd place this year, although somewhat of a disapointment, would be an improvement over the last 6 years. Os win their 3rd straight game, 5-3. Bring out the broom tomorrow for the 3 game sweep of Toronto.
  25. Nothing? Im going to assume he meant finish in 3rd place.
