And more importantly, most people won't know who the hell he is, although apparently you and I do... well... I didn't before I read his site, although I guess I do recognize him from a few of his roles but yeah, hes pretty much an unknown, which is probably a good thing. -

Mark Dacascos - The new Chairman "Kaga" He was in "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven" and he knows martial arts. Hes also playing a Thai Buddhist Monk named Ananda in tomorrow nights CSI. -
That's 24-karat gold there. After the showing that I saw ended my buddy stood up and said "So that's why we have a rabbit who hides eggs in the spring!". Half the theater laughed and the other half looked like they were watching a kitten die. Why not dress up like the Easter Bunny and afterwards say see what happens when you mess with my holiday. Dressing up as the Easter Bunny was my idea (see my earlier post in the thread) Farker = person who frequents Fark.com I haven't been there in a couple months for some reason..

My team is spot on. If I had time, Id go through and check but its late and I really should be going to bed. I've set 4 am as the limit. I cant find anyone worth worrying about on the waiver wire anyway. -

Well, I dont know, but hes a free agent, and I was going to pick him up, but between me having Oswalt and not really wanting to dump any of my pitchers, and Al possibly having drafted him, I'll stay away from him. -

Since everyones posting.. C - Craig Wilson (1B, RF) 1B - Phil Nevin (RF) 2B - Jose Vidro 3B - Morgan Ensberg SS - Alex Cintron 3B - Mark Derosa (2B,SS) OF - Andruw Jones OF - Jay Gibbons OF - Corey Patterson OF - Jose Cruz Jr OF - Jacque Jones OF - Rondell White SP - Roy Oswalt SP - Eric Milton SP - Jarrod Washburn SP - Jake Peavy SP - Kurt Ainsworth RP - Eric Gagne RP - Rob Nen RP - Aquilino López If Nen gets back to form by late May/June, I probably have the best Relief Pitcher staff, even better if Lopez is the Closer in Toronto. My starters have a lot of promise but ugh, it could be very ugly. Offensively my OF has a lot of depth and pretty nuch makes up for my Infield thats probably going to be average at best. -
the only question I have is will there be a WWE tie in?
-
"Name a wrestler" Paul London "Who?" Paul London "Uh, I don't think thats a wrestler." He's on Velocity sometimes.. "Whats Velocity?" Thats the Smackdown brand show on Saturday nightl. "We have a Smackdown brand show on Saturday night?" Yeah, its on at 10. "What channel?" Spike TV, same as RAW. "Really? Thats great! But I still don't know who you're talking about." Paul London, you know, he tagged with Brian Kendrick before he quit. "Who, what, huh?" Brian Kendrick, you know, Spanky? "Don't know him" The guy that delivered the singing telegram to the Undertaker and ran around naked. "Not ringing a bell, but it sounds stupid." Ok..you work for the WWE but you've never heard of these guys? "Nope, NEXT!"

I've got no depth at IF positions but I have 6 OF which will cover the 3 OF and 2 UTIL spots. If someone wants to trade an IF for one of my OF other than Gibbons and Andruw Jones, I might be interested. -
damn, I just realized S.H.I.T. had Blount who went for 28 pts and 21 Rebounds.. that sucks

Would have been funnier if he was in an Easter Bunny Costume. Then when they all started pelting the Easter Bunny with crap, the kids would go nuts because their parents were pelting the Easter Bunny. THATS 18kt GOLD! The only thing better would have been Santa Claus, but it doesn't exactly fit the timing/theme of the movie.
-
Im playing and will probably pass The S.H.I.T. and at least get into 7th place this week unless my whole team decides they dont want to play (see Juwan Howard with a stomach virus and Dwayne Wade with a bone spur)

Seven Teens Die in Tennessee Car Wreck
MarvinisaLunatic replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in General Chat
This is why states are adopting laws prohibiting more than 1 teenager from being in a car at the same time. Not that its going to do much good, since Im sure if the police tried to stop them they'd be stupid and try to outrun the police like the other recent "Teenagers killed in an accident" tragedy. The Law of Teenage Collective Intelligence needs a modifier for when a car or other motorized vehicle is involved and another one for when the driver is either unliscensed or with a learner's permit. -
Somehow the whole "Gay Marriage Debate" reeks of "lets completely ignore the real issues in an election year and focus on something that really shouldn't be a federal government issue in the first place" Amendment 10 of the US Constitution: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. Marriages are a states right which is why each state can have different rules about mariages. I don't see how the Federal Government should have any say in matters of marriage, even if the marriages aren't your traditional Man/Woman variety. Let the states decide on their own.

And the networks will overbid even if ratings have been down.
-
Most of those changes seem to help the struggling networks (ABC and Fox, not so much CBS I guess) more than the NFL. The NFL could care less probably what the ratings of its games get, since they already got paid by the networks for the right to air the games. For example, the whole reason to move the start of the season back is to put the Super Bowl in February Sweeps which would benefit whatever network has the Super Bowl that year. They care because if there aren't good ratings then they can't demand as much from the networks when the next contract comes due. Oh yeah, like the price for the NFL is going to go down even if the ratings dip a .01 of a point. Oh, and NFL Sunday Ticket is a Directv exclusive for I think 5 more years.

Portis needs to be an honorary member of Evolution, and he could wear one of those "Paid, Laid and Made" shirts.
