I unfortunately dont have the money to buy it but Im going to try and rent it and eventually I'll probably buy it. Most reviews peg it at a 9.0 or better and some even say its the best MGS game ever (or until MGS 3).

The reason Cable rates go up a lot is because the cable companies never fight the content providers (like Viacom in this case) rate increases. They normally just accept them and pass the expense off to customers in rate hikes. I can't even get cable where I live (Comcast serves the area but not as far out as live) which Is why Im stuck with the combo of a large C-Band dish and a Directv system. Directv has much better hardware than Dish Network but Dish Network is cheaper because the guy that owns it fights the price hikes whenever he can.

I did the math, being 7.5 games out of 6th place, Im the only team not in the top 6 with a realistic chance to make into the top 6. Over the next two weeks, I have to go 16-0 and Team Failure needs to go 7-8-1 or worse. Not very likely, but just like the NFL league, I've got a chance although Im gonna end up just a bit short again.

T.O. is supposed to report to Baltimore tomorrow for a physical as a part of the trade. I doubt thats going to happen. Of course, if he was smart he could try and purposely fail the physical so that the Ravens would have to cancel the trade themselves...

I can't take his lists seriously because he actually ranked Segui #14 on the DH list. He shouldn't even be on the DH list period. Larry Bigbie, Jack Cust or BJ Surhoff are better than David Segui.

Maryland beats Virginia and pretty much locks up a NCAA Tourney spot barring a lot of upsets in the Conference Tournaments.

A commentary team of Tazz and Styles? That would be interesting. Eh, that would be..interesting. I honestly don't see Styles working for Vince though, but if Vince wanted this ECW project to get off the ground sucessfully he'd probably do just about anything to get him for commentary.

Are you just hairless above the neck, or does the alopecia affect your whole body? Every square inch of my body except for parts of my eyelashes. Anywhere else you would have hair (including odd places like up my nose, since I've sneezed out hair several times) the hair has fallen out and not grown back.

Tazz has a bum neck, plus he's probably horribly out of ring shape. He's happy doing commentary. It's a pretty safe bet that Tazz will never wrestle another match. yes but Tazz could side with Heyman and leave Smackdown to go commentate on the ECW show.

There was a no blading/blood rule from the Maryland Athletic Commission and he had been warned repeatedly and violated it. In a match with someone (I'd like to say Steve Corino), him with a chair and he juiced. Because of that, he's been banned from working in Maryland, and I think a couple other states that their commission is linked to. The show that happened at is near where I live (Salisbury) and I was pissed that it happened when I was down in SC (it was April 2001). I would have so been there, and it was actually RVD who was his opponent.

1.Lack of total games? Yes. Lack of quality games? I dont think so. There are enough great games on the gamecube (sans sports titles) for me. And one of the major bashings of the Gamecube was that it didn't have a hard drive. All I heard was how Hard Drives were the new standard for memory in consoles and Nintendo was just its usual slow self to adopt new technology. But it says something for hard drives in consoles when Microsoft wont put one in their next console. 2. Nintendo's next console will likely be backwards compatible, from what I've heard.

I think this is funny. "OMG TEH GAMECUBE SUX CUS IT DONT HAV A HARDRIVE LIK XBOX" This really goes to prove the rumors that the X Box won't be backwards compatible. It also alienates the 70% of the population of the US that don't have broadband internet so that they could access X Box Live and their servers, but thats no different than if it did have a hard drive.

I managed to get in bed at about 1:00 and my phone rang at like 6:15 this morning. I got up to answer it, wrong number. I trudged back to bed, 15 seconds later, phone rang again, I let it go thinking they'd get the idea, but they hung up before my machine could get it and called right back a 3rd time, hung up, called again and hung up (4 total calls). At this point I was pissed, so I got up waiting for the phone to ring so I could pick it up on first ring but they never called back. So now Im up and pissed off. Stupid people cant figure out they're calling the wrong damn number once, twice or three times, but four damn times.

Everyone gets the messages because Viacom is putting them in its master feed thats sent to Cable, Directv and DishNet. I think its funny that DishNet put the Viacom CEO's home phone number on their site and in the recorded message you get if you call the number on the crawl. And don't forget, Spike TV is a Viacom channel so bye bye RAW (the post Wrestlemania RAW anyway if its not settled within the week). That would really piss Vince off too, as the loss of 9 million DishNet subscribers would definitely have at least some impact on the RAW rating. And, Dishnet is also in danger of losing some of the Turner (well, not really but thats a good thing to call them) Channels (Boomerang, CNN/Headline News, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies) If they lose the viacom channels and the Turner Channels, DishNet might as well go out of business. And DishNet can't really raise rates, as a good portion of the people who signed up within the last year or have contracts with their package price fixed until 2005 or 2006 and they already raised their rates recently. So which is worse, another price hike when they claim to be cheaper than cable or losing a bunch of channels?

Im going on 28 hours right now myself (10 am friday). I doubt I'm gonna push past it past 11 or 12 tonight because I want to get up and watch the Las Vegas race tomorrow, and luckily it doesn't start til like 2:30.

There is plenty of talent on both brands that doesn't even get to make the B shows on a regular basis. If Paul Heyman gets fired then logically Stephanie would get her job back which would keep her away from it. I don't even like the idea of Shane sticking his nose in it, but whatever. The one thing it needs is to be completely seperate from RAW/Smackdown. No PPV ads, no RAW/Smackdown ads, seperate announce team, distinctive set, no mentioning of RAW/Smackdown period.

Im not getting a new game this year. The Gamecube is only getting 2 baseball games, MVP and Slugfest.

Something tells me T.O. doesnt want to play for the Ravens....
