I wonder what Steph's announcement is..

I got the Austin and Rock 3 DVD sets at Best Buy for $20 total, though they were $15 each but I had a $10 RZ gift card. Not to mention Rey and HBK's sets for $12 each and the horsemen set for 90 pepsi points. I was hoping someone would go lower than $19.99 even like $17.99 or a freebie with purchase but nothing..bah.

Is that Southwest commercial the one with the Asian girl and ends with her saying "let fweedom wing?" Im tired of that one too.

The Mythical $100 fill up has arrived! For people who drive 8 mpg SUVs that have near 30 + gallon tanks..pft I filled up my Yaris last week with 8 gallons of gas at 1/4 full for $32. oooh: She upgraded from a Yukon XL to a Land Cruiser..but the Land Cruiser gets worse MPG (18 vs 16). LOL

Pomegranate is great but expensive. As far as the Naked stuff, I came across a bottle of one of their green colored drinks that had wheat grass in it, but it actually tasted pretty good.

Does anyone know of any stores selling the flair DVD for less than $19.99. I was hoping it would be on sale somewhere the first week.

Im going with Brian Roberts for obvious reasons and Corey Hart ( ) and its great that the Os get a national game on TBS..on a SUNDAY..ugh.

They obviously will sign Fielder long term and that wont be a problem.

1. Sabathia is a free agent after the season, while Bedard had two years left until free agency. The Brewers are guaranteed less than three months of Sabathia's services. 2. LaPorta has slugged .616 career in the minors. He's an elite hitting prospect, probably better than any individual player the O's got. Seattle is already considering trading Bedard now though. If they trade him with his health questions theres no way they get back anything close to what they gave up to get him and essentially they gave up a ton for a 5 month rental, a good portion of which hes been hurt. I doubt they will be able to trade him because its been said that he's still not 100% and probably wont be for the rest of the season unless he goes on another extended DL stint, which will probably happen anyway with them way out of contention. We wont even see what Tillman brings to the table until 2010 at least and he was the 2nd key player in the trade behind Adam Jones, who is quietly growing into the CF position and hitting after a slow start. Not to mention George Sherill who turned out to be an All Star closer. And past that you still have the hoss Kam Mickolo who could step into the rotation next year and Tony Butler who I honestly dont know much about. My point is though that Cleveland probably could have waited knowing they had the top pitcher available and gotten a better offer from a desperate team closer to the deadline. Who is the next best pitcher available? The only name Ive heard thrown around is Daniel Cabrera and thats only because he's an Oriole. I for one hopes this means that a team gets desperate and trades for D-Cab and overpays for him. OUT THE DOOR SOLD! if that happens. Oh, and I fully expect David Eckstein to be traded to the Orioles tomorrow since the Os are going to Toronto and it will be easier on both sides. Eckstein isn't the answer at SS but neither is Bynum or Fahey and at least Eckstein would be a veteran presence.

Im still trying to figure out how the Brewers got CC for as little as they gave up. This trade and Bedard's health problems this year makes the Mariners look like idiots. not that Im complaining..

Now Gas prices are causing old folks to starve In 6 months "Natural Gas prices are causing old folks to freeze to death" Also, I wasnt driving when the National Speed Limit was in effect but the talks about reinstating it again have me wondering if you're caught speeding with it in effect if its a federal crime or not.. I think what will happen, and it will suck, is that despite no need for rationing on the supply side, gas rationing will probably happen sometime next year. If we artificially nuke demand for gas overnight, the prices will drop which will be great, but of course..yeah..you'll be limited on the amount of gas you can buy.

Id bet a small sum of money that says that Tampa doesn't finish in first or second in the AL East at the end of the year. Oh, and the Os are 4-5 vs the "clearly superior" Red Sox. They get to face them this weekend in Boston which should actually be a good series. The Os are only 3-8 vs the Rays isn't good though but they have never played well vs TB. They dont play TB again til the last 3 games of August either.

Hellboy is a niche flick, no way its going to do more than say..35 million which wont be enough for #1. Journey to the Center of the Earth will get more than Hellboy.

I got all excited we won 80-0 and then realized how crappy the other team was. The crazy thing is we're still in the hunt for 8th place.

Straight Edge CJ Wilson gives up 2 solo HRs in the 9th to make it 11-10 Texas. He might need to go hit the bottle after the game if he keeps it up...or not.
-
The Os were down 11-5 in the 8th but then Rupe came in for Texas and proceded to give up 3 runs on a Markakis HR to make it 11-8. Too bad the Os gave up 5 fucking runs in the top of the 8th. ugh

I figured over 100 million for Hancock given the holiday weekend and the fact it opened on Wednesday, and its Will Smith and a super hero movie on the 4th of July.

I'd argue that's it's ill-advised even if you haven't been cut up. That's what killed Judy Garland, right? Yeah, Marv, no exercise in conjunction with that kind of chemical strain has gotta have you flying headlong into some sort of cardiovascular cataclysm. Whatever. I only did that like..twice, and it was because if I didnt get to sleep, Id end up getting tired about the same time I had to get up the next day to do the 4:30 to 7 shift again. Id rather chance the mix of sleeping pills and energy drinks and at least get 5 hours sleep than to try and stay up for 40 hours straight working 29 of them. I dont have to do the back to back 14 hour shifts much though as I usually at least get a day off between them.

Its not. The Os announce crew mentioned that the Orioles dont go through the full pregame routine (batting practice and infield practice) on Sunday like they do the rest of the week. they should blame it on Dave Trembley since he should have them out there on Sundays by now. Its not some wacky coincidence that should be shrugged off as nothing, he needs to have the team go through the full pregame routine on Sundays. The Os have a winning record every other day of the week but Wednesday (5-8) so theres no reason for them to play so poorly on Sunday, other than they arent taking pregame practice. For Fun though, the D-rays have a losing record on Sundays(I forget the graphic) and the Blue Jays have a winning record (10-2).
-
Os are gonna lose on Sunday again down 6-3. 13 straight sundays...ARGHH Bright side..I get to spam the 32 player vote for Brian Roberts!

What about the rumored teams playing in Europe deal thats been discussed? They were talking about creating 5 new teams to play in Europe, but the NBA expanding by 5 teams, all in Europe is absurd. I could see current teams (Memphis, Milwaukee to name 2) being teams that get moved to Europe and maybe they only expand by 2 teams or so.

Gas Prices Put the Crunch on RealStupid People I dont care if they guy is going to law school, You have to be stupid to drive 5 hours a day and spend $500 a week on gas and not try and figure out some alternative solution to driving 270 miles a day when gas is over $4 a gallon. I dont want to read about you and your sob story..wah wah wah. Dude could get a fucking apartment to spend the week in for his self (and go home on the weekends) for less than the $2,000 a month he's paying for gas.
