It was 7 months later when the other board closed and The Smarks (this forum) opened and I signed up on this version of the board (see my stats under my username). I even remember that I was looking for Iron Chef stuff and stumbled upon Rantsylvania's Iron Chef reviews and found out they had wrestling stuff and was like "this place is cool!" but I didnt post much until everything was transfered over to this forum. Now I'm sure I'm probably in the minority, but I haven't to say going into Night of Champions, the thing I was most interested in (or in the top 3 at least) was who Dibiase's partner would be/would Cody turn. It's not as if the tag team division has had any real storylines going on for the last few years, so this is something new, and actually interesting, and I think as it builds, people will care. The whole "Who was Dibiase's partner going to be?" wasn't much of a mystery since everyone was saying it was going to be Cody and it was.

You can't say "Well, if they take the guns away then suicides will go down" because then you'll just have people jumping out of their 8th floor apartments to kill themselves a la that Russian Model in NYC last week. Oh, but..but..the success rate with a gun is 90% vs 34% for other means of suicide attempts..if someone tries once without a gun and doesn't die..Im guessing most will keep trying. And more importantly, only 33,000 people died at the hand of guns in 2005. Car accidents claimed almost three times that number. I think we need to ban cars! Save lives! Save the environment! Stop global warming! More exercise! YES!

Im willing to bet that Batista doesn't win and then they do Punk/Cena at Summerslam with Cena winning the belt back finally. I can't figure out who Bob Holly gets as a new tag partner that he would mesh with enough to be a legit team. My first guess was Charlie Haas based off of the WGTT portion of his career but do we really want to see Holly/Haas wrestle for the tag belts..no IC belt will probably end up being Kingston vs Cade

They're saying $7 a gallon gas based on $200 a barrel for oil by 2010 which will lead to 10 million fewer cars on the road than there are right now since those people will ditch their cars and switch to the wonderful thing called mass transit*. *Mass transit not available in all areas, check availability, fares and schedules before ditching your car. The only mass transit we have here is buses which run on biodiesel (I think), and I wonder if they'll be able to afford to run buses if it costs that much to fuel one (since biodiesel isn't that much cheaper than regular). Also, the coming problem: HOW WILL THE KIDS GET TO SCHOOL? The county here is already facing a shortage of funding for next years fuel bill for county buses and some solutions being thrown around include having the kids walk to school (ha, they might get adbucted!), picked up in a central location (talk about an all you can molest child buffet!), parents having to pay a monthly fee for their kid to ride the bus (can't see that flying) or even, God forbid Parents having to take their own kids to school. The one radical idea is cutting the school week to 4 days and adding 80 minutes to each day. sorta like government agencies are contemplating. It might work for kids, but for adults cutting back one day and giving them an extra day off means theyll just drive around in their free time instead of to work which will probably consume more gas in the long run..

You have to buy the SE Day 1 set for $16.99 which has a $15 coupon on it good on seasons 2-6. The coupon states as clear as day that it is good for up to $75 off Seasons 2-6, which would clearly mean to anyone with understanding of the english language that the $15 can be taken off each set, effectively making them $1.99 each. $16.99 + $1.99 x 5 = $26.94 + tax if applicable The main issues people are having are that the coupons have been removed or the cashiers at best buy are claiming you can't use it on all 5 sets (clearly wrong per the coupon) or that you can't use the coupon at all since its some kind of super sale or something. The coupon removal problem is easily solved by stopping somewhere prior and getting the coupon of a set somewhere else, though I bet you get a real funny look from the cashier or supervisor (and I bet they even try and claim "OUR DVD SETS DIDNT HAVE COUPONS ON THEM! FRAUD! NO SALE!!") or something even rediculously stupid since all the sets came with coupons on them. At that point Id take my money and tell them right to their face, "Circuit City's gonna get my money" and walk out. Regular prices for the sets looked to be $40 and the SE Set is $50, which is why I was surprised they were allowing the SE to count as a Day 1 Set in the $16.99 deal. Im surprised they haven't excluded the SE Set by now since that would end the coupon controversy for most people since you have to buy the SE set to use the coupon. In that scenario it would cost about $60 for all 6 sets, which is still a deal but not nearly as good as $26. BTW, My set I ordered for pickup on the website had the coupon on it. I was tempted to have them do the rest of the deal but I anticipate a huge flood of 24 sets on Ebay and you it wouldn't be worth all the hassle to get a few bucks back after everything is said and done. Also, in regards to the SE set, its not worth $50 AT ALL if you already have the original release, although its a bit more palatable at $18 but I still felt a bit ripped off even at $18. The Audio/Video is exactly the same as the set that was released 6 years ago which to me is completely unacceptable, especially the audio if you care about 5.1 since this set is still 2.0 stereo whereas the following releases were all 5.1. As far as I can tell, the only commentaries are on the First episode and the Finale which is a big disapointment. The bonus stuff on the 7th disc is good, but not worth 50 bucks. OMG THE DEGREE DEODORANT ROOKIE SHORTS..ugh
