Can't blame the fans on this. Look at the picks Harrington, Charlie Rogers, Roy Williams, Mike Williams, Kevin Jones. Only Jones and Roy Williams have done anything respectable.
I thought that the major background story to this movie was that Lewis was making a comparison to British Colonialism. Am I thinking of a totally different book series? If so, I must have been looking to deeply because I saw connections in the movie to those ideas.
I am beginning to warm up to the suit after being disapointed with it at first. However, this is WAY better the Nic Cage's.
Now that I think of it he should portray Jor-El in the movie. After all he does have a kid named Kal-El.
You are correct Vyce. I am in total agreement with you.
What is so stupid is that I saw on the news that a spokesman for the mentally unstable believes that air marshalls should be taught to look for signs to see if people are bi-polar if a case like this should happen again.
I say tough shit. I want the air marshalls to not have to try and identify if the nutjob is bi-polar, you need to react quickly, not worry if the person forgot to take their medication.
Over the years I forgot how good of matches Mr. Perfect and Bret had in the early 90's. My last memory was of their match from WCW Uncensored, which was a giant letdown.
My brain hurts from reading all those stupid ideas. It is always a great idea to go away from the material that makes people like the character.
People's Exhibit A: Catwoman (nuff said)
This last monday had a pretty good line. Joey Styles said that Mr. McMahon looked very dignified with the court robe. Lawler responded with "Well he has spent alot of time in court before."
I sat there in stunned silence when King uttered that line.
If the air marshalls would have not done anything due to claim of being bi-polar, any terrorist would have an easy plan to follow for future reference.
Whats worse is that Mongo won a singles title in WCW before Benoit did. I believe he won the US Title by either beating Jeff Jarrett or Alex Wright for it. Even scarier is that the crowd popped for the Mongo title win.
Amazingly, The Twins have gotten into the act, trading for Luis Casttilo for two minor league pitching prospects. The Twins really needed a second baseman.
