  1. -Happy 4th of...oh damnit, I'm late again. I was good though. I visited my family, saw fireworks, had ribs (wish I brought some home with me...) and that's about it. Anyways, the "Transformers" movie was pretty good. Sure, it has it's flaws (the mom is really annoying, the use of Linkin Park music), but it's still a lot of fun. Great action, good acting, most of the jokes are hits, great special effects-it's all you want out of a blockbuster. Just turn your mind off, and don't go into it thinking "Oh, it's not the same as G1!" -I saw a poster for the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie, and well, to David Cross: You are a funny man, but with this,"Scary Movie 2", and "Freakshow" (which you served as producer), I'm starting to think you need a new agent, or at least to think about the movie choices you make. -Also, "Ratatoullie" is awesome. Next to "Grindhouse", it may be my favorite movie of the year so far. -Borders is better than Barnes & Noble. How do I know this? Well, I go to a lot of bookstores (I read a lot) so I would know by experience.
  2. With this and "Scary Movie 2", I'm starting to think Dave needs a new agent when it comes to movie choices. Yes, I'm aware he was in "Arrested Development", "Eternal Sunshine", and "Mr. Show", but he was also in this, "Scary Movie 2", and was producer of "Freakshow" (really, it's amazing that a show with him, H. John Benjamin, and Will Arnett would turn out to be so bad) That would be an awesome movie. Best review of that movie ever written.
  3. I thought about making a fictional myspace account (as the football that hit Hans Moleman in the groin), but changed my mind.
  4. Eh, I spell stuff wrong sometimes.

  8. Listen to Milky, he knows his stuff.
  9. pbone is the best new poster we've had in a while.
  10. Lately, I haven't liked Matt. This almost makes up for everything.
  11. Awesome.
  12. Pieces is awesome, probably one of the best albums of the whole dance-punk revival. Not the best (that would be LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver) but awesome nonetheless. A lot more focused than Echoes.
  13. T.Rexxx?

  15. I liked it. It isn't perfect ( ), but it's a good popcorn flick. Just don't go into it thinking "It's not the same as it used to be!" Probably the best thing Bay has done since "The Rock."
  16. I'm checking it out tonight at midnight. I'll tell you how it is tomorrow.

  18. -A week ago, we learned that Chris Benoit was murderer. Since then, things seemed to have cooled down fortunately. The thread about Benoit's death became a complete clusterfuck. Deon made the biggest ass of himself (not that it's a major accomplishment for him) and we didn't learn jack shit about anything, other than Benoit was a fucked up individual. -I'm going to see an early show of "Transformers" tonight at midnight. Lucky me. I'll tell you how it is next time. The good reviews are good, while the bad ones seem to be clueless, especially the one from Slant Magazine. Sorry about the tiny update.
  19. New avatar. No Clearly you are wrong. Ignore the above post. Actually, he's right, that does suck.
  20. The beating/death scene itself just puts it so over the top.
  21. Christ, I can be clueless. It's a weakness.
  22. That's a terrible album. It's much better than Forbidden though. The thing is, after Dio left, Sabbath basically became Tony Iommi's project. Speaking of Deep Purple, "Highway Star" is their best song, with "Hush" being a close second. The song "Warning" drags on for way too long, so I disagree. That is a great album though.

  24. Just saw it, and absolutley loved it. Easily one of my favorite movies of the year, and a major improvement over Cars.
