  1. Meanwhile, thanks to the latest schedule change, the Family Guy reruns on Adult Swim airing against the Daily Show are a hundred times funnier than Jon Stewart has ever been. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like Family Guy, but I think that there are several shows funnier than it, and The Daily Show is one of them.
  2. This may be one of the wirdest videos ever made (Yes it's legitimate, and was directed by Chris Cunningham) http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=rubjohn http://www.ebaumsworld.com/flash/rubberjohnny.html
  3. Eh, I've seen far worse.
  4. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a66/cunni...ush/ch_tmnt.jpg NSFW-but hilarious
  5. Dead Ringers. (Still one of the creepiest films I've ever seen, and my favorite Cronenberg film.Everything about this movie is perfect; the acting, the atmosphere, the drama, the sexual content, it's all fully realized to a disturbing effect.) The Thing-Collectors edition
  6. http://www.gawker.com/news/media/commentar...tire-111789.php Basically, Mallard Fillmore creator Bruce Tinsley is mad at Stewart for the fake Filmore strip found in "America-the Book", thinking that it would "Decieve people into thinking it was a real "Filmore" cartoon". Of course it didn't, because then, that would mean that "Filmore" would have to be funny or enlightenng. In response, Tinsley has made several anti-Stewart cartoons Wow, all he can come up with is a bad Dan Rather Joke? Um, I highly doubt Jon Stewart is a pedophile.
  7. Well, I guess as an endurence test. Stuff like this is the kind of thing that could disgust even the most jaded lemonparty.com and eel girl viewer. It's kind of like splatterpunk stories, only without the outrageous humor and over the top nature.
  8. From Dread-Central http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/modules...order=0&thold=0 So, what is "Aftermath" about? Well, it's a 30 minute short about an Autopsy...that turns into an act of Necrophillia that makes "Nekromantik" look weak. Oh, you can get it from Amazon too, though it comes out in August.
  9. My Bloody Valentine (there is no way they could have improved on "Lovelesss") Portishead Tricky DJ Shadow
  10. Social commentary has always been a part of horror. Look at H.P. Lovecrafts "The Shadiw over Innsmouth", which essentially, a commentary on capitalism and greed. "Frankenstein", not only the film, but the book, is rife with social commentary. Basically, saying social commentary and horror don't go together is like saying sex and horror don't go together.

  13. I have watched Professional Wrestling for 10 years. So far, while there has been moments that suprised me, nothing really shocked me. Well, that is, until last night, when Matt Hardy returned.
  14. Good: MATT FUCKING HARDY! Also, I dug Piper's Pit, or at least Piper. Also, this weeks Angle Invitational. Hell, I love how the WWE seems to be playing with the net. Oh, and Gene Snitsky: Foot Fetishist. The Bad: Diva Search (skipped that though) The Mediocre/Just OK: Everything else. All in all, this Raw is a classic because of Matt Hardy. Other than that, it was a middling affair. After tonight though, I'll bet ya that Vince has this in his eyes: $_$
  15. That was the greatest thing ever. Matt, I take back every bad thing I've said about you. You sir, kick ass!
  16. The anthology "Children of Cthulhu" which contains a series of Lovecraft inspired tales from a newer generation of Authors. Haven't read it in a while, and it's still the best Lovecraft inspired anthology around. Includes stories from Poppy Z. Brite, John Pelan (aka Old School John), Tim Lebbon, Richard Laymon, Westron Ochse, Yvone Navarro, and more.
  17. Agreed, not as good as last week. I thought the best part was "What if Batman was a Monkey"
  18. That is pure comedy gold right there. "Whats the point of it?!?! It just shoots ya!!!!"
  19. You should see these Guys Iggy and the Stooges Saul Williams Dinosaur jr. Sleater Kinney Arcade Fire QOTSA The Killers (who cares what hipsters and The Onion AV club says, I like them) Dwarves
