  1. Whats really weird: Boll wants it to be a 3-hour film. As for Perlman, I think he's one of the most underrated actors on Earth. See "City of Lost Children" for an example. Also, he's awesome as Slade on "Teen Titans" IMO. (even though this season has been mostly diappointing, it's great to see him back)
  2. "Queefing Doesn't make the world work"
  3. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/film/...t_id=1000972245 Jesus Christ, why does this guy continue to ger work?
  4. I own "Choking Hazard". Nothing original, but definately a riot, especially the Jehovas Witness pornstar. I like to think of it like this: If Steve Odedkerk followed up "Kung Pow: Enter The Fist" with a Zombie movie, it would be a little like "Choking Hazard". Also, "Dead Meat", which has zombies, lots of gore, a weird sense of humor, and cows that eat people. Then theres "Stacy", a Japanese zombie film with zombie school girls, a weapon called "Blues Campbell Right Hand # 2" (Their spelling, not mine), an army called "The Romero Kill-Repeat Squad", and a defense squad of Drew Berrymore fangirls. It's basically like the best movie Troma never made. Oh, and "Junk", which is a Japanese rip off od Italian Zombie films and "Return of the Living Dead 3", with Yakuza, a Zombie that eats it's own flesh, and a bad ass, speedy, intelligent, and strong zombie babe with a nice pair of tits. "Wild Zero" has already been mentioned, and I can't begin to tell you how much I love that movie. It's like the manliest film ever made. Anyone here seen a Chinese Zombie film called "Bio-Zombie", or the film "Battlefield Baseball" (it has zombies in it, I hear)
  5. Speaking of "Return of the Living Dead", ROTLD 4: Necropolis and ROTLD 5: Rave from the Grave come to theatres on Oct. 7th from Freestyle Releasing, who also released the film adaptation of Stephen King's "Riding the Bullet"
  6. Well, this really sucks. Thats all I can say right now unfortunately...this really sucks.
  7. http://www.rosie.com/ At least she knows she's washed up. The Oprah poem is a real highlight.
  8. Front Line Assembly and Friends-Best of Cryogenic Studies Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet-Reqiem for a Dream OST
  9. Shivers is Pretty Sweet. May I recommend "Dead And Buried" It's a not-so-traditional zombie movie with a town with a secret, the granpa from "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", Robert Englund, a really creepy atmosphere, and a hyperdermic needle to the eye that outdoes the splinter to the eye in "Zombi 2" (mostly because it's more sudden and simplistic, and not as overdone, as the splinter scene) Then theres "Re-Animator". I'm honestly suprised no one mentioned that one yet. Oh, I recently got to downloading "Undead". It's pretty fun, but not as great as the hype would lead you to believe.
  10. Just saw it out of boredom. Wasn't too impressed, though I must say, Dakota Fanning isn't that bad of an actress.
  11. American Psycho: Killer Edition
  12. Well, see ya Marc. I had no idea you were still employed, but see ya.
  13. I own "Versus", and it's pretty fuckin' sweet.
  14. Another great zombie film: "Dead and Burried". A non-flesh eating zombie film from the director of "Raw Meat" and the writers of "Alien". (Fact: in my profile, where it says I live in "Potter's Bluff"; that's a reference to the film) Oh, and theres a French Zombie film called "They Came Back", in which the dead come back to...live their old lives again. Then theres "Wild Zero". If you hate this movie, then I don't know what to say for you. Personally, my favorite thing about "Re-Animator" is Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West. He is the best Mad Scientist in the history of horror, IMO.
  15. http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/06/...p.ap/index.html Wow, just...wow. My sister went to Mexico earlier this year, and she said that their's alot of racism in that Country. I guess this kinda proves it.
  16. My top 5 zombie movies would have to be 1.) Dawn of the Dead (original) 2.) Night of the Living Dead (original) 3.) Re-Animator 4.) Dead Alive 5.) Day of the Dead Honerable mentions: "Dead and Buried", "Return of the Living Dead I and III", "Cemetary Man" (coming later this year to DVD from Anchor Bay), "Versus", "Junk" (How can you not love a movie where a zombie eats it's own flesh?), and "Wild Zero" (Simply put, one of the best things ever) Also, I'm sorry vivisectvi, but I just can't join in on the love of Fulci's "Zombi 2". Sure, it's a fun zombie film, and it has some great moments, but personally, it all feels a bit empty to me whenever I watch it.
  17. "WrestleCrap" by R.D. Reynolds.
  18. I also think the Dawn remake is pretty good. Exceeded my expectations, and even had a badass chainsaw death.
  19. From PWTorch audio
  20. Just a guess, but an ECW book from the WWE will probalby end up being with some revisionist history.
  21. But thats one of the things that makes Romero's movies so great. Then again, it wasn't trying to be like the original. Still, I like the original over the remake. That out of the way, Undead isn't getting very good reviews. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/undead/
  22. That's exactly what I think of the "Dawn" remake. I think the main flaw in it is that while it's a good zombie movie, it's just that-a good zombie movie, and not the classic I've heard alot of people say it is. Plus, it didn't have any of the social commentary of Romero's films (yes, not just his zombie films. I also mean movies like "Maritn", "The Crazies", and "Season of the Witch"). which in my eyes, are among the some of the best the horror genre has to offer. They prove that horror doesn't have to be mindless; it can also be intelligent, and have something to say about society.
  23. My list of albums so far this year: -Roots Manuva-Awfully Deep. British rapper with rastafarian flow and weird hip hop/video game techno production=awesome. -Antony and the Johnsons-I am a Bird Now. I've known about them before this album (He's toured with Coil and Current 93), so to see a widely available album from him is pretty sweet. -DJ Spooky and Dave Lombardo-Drums of Death. Major disapointment. At least "B-Side Wins again" is alright. -LCD Soundsystem-Good, albeit a bit overhyped. -Bloc Party-Silent Alarm.Ditto. -Hrvatski-Irrevocably Overdriven Break Freakout Megamix.91 tracks in 40 minutes. It's a pretty swell mix of drum n bass/drill n bass/IDM/noise/weirdness. -Gorilaz-Demon Days.I'd have to say that I agree that it's much better than their debut. More focused and catchy, with no filler, and Dennis fuckin' Hopper appearing. -Merzbow-MerzBuddah and Sphere. Probably some of his best work in a while. Dig the pulsating, almost dubby bass in "Merzbuddah." -AFX(Aphex Twin)-The Analord Series.A series of vinyl eps that harken back to his Analogue Bubblebath/Selected Ambient Works 85-92 era sound. -M.I.A.-Arular. Along with Roots Manuva's "Awfully Deep", this is the political statement/party record of the year. -Meat Beat Manifesto-At the Center.Heard a few songs from it, and it sounds pretty cool. Basically, it's Meat Beat Manifesto collaberating with a Free Jazz band. -Coil-And the Ambulence Dies in his Arms.Cool live album. Will probably be their last album, since John Balance died last November. It's good, but not as great as last years "Black Antlers" album. -Common-Be. It's Common produced by Kanye West, so unsuprisingly, it's a winner. Still waiting for-Current 93, "Black Ships Ate the Sky"
  24. Speaking of Cruise, War of the Worlds is getting good reviews http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/war_of_the_worlds/
  25. Soulseek is the best thing ever,IMO. At least half of the albums I list in the "Albums Listened to Today" forum I got from SoulSeek.
