Meh, the live disc might be (I'm not familiar with it) but outside of 'Grantchester Meadows' and 'The Narrow Way' the studio portion really isn't that good. I'm a bit iffy on Floyd's 1960's output as a whole all truths be told, although I'm pretty sure it's not a stylistic problem in this case since I love 'Atom Heart Mother' and 'Echoes'.

A woman in my English literature class by the name of Lynn. Our teacher is trying to help us to gain a better understanding of the novels we're reading by explaning the intentions of the novelists who wrote them, and Lynn keeps protesting against the knowledge that she's imparting to us by saying 'Don't you think (insert writer's name here) would have been writing because he/she liked to write?'. She was almost as terrible as this in history last year. The kicker? She's in her thirties.

Close to the Edge is good? I only have Fragile and The Yes Album from their back catalogue. The former's pretty awesome, the latter is really mundane. I'm trying to collect as much progressive-rock as I can at the moment. I get the idea that it would be my favourite genre of music if I were to become more well-versed in it (I like King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Yes etc. Emerson, Lake and Palmer are a horrific testament to the potential of overly-pretentious music to utterly fail when it is coupled with bog-standard songwriting).

I feel really embarrassed whenever I fall victim to one of my own pet peeves. I'm going to blame the speed at which I type, which, for whatever reason, seems to lead to more homophone related mistakes than actual typos.

I would be interested in such a folder. It's not exactly going to hurt to make an attempt at one, is it? If there's no traffic then the admins can just delete it. I'm also rather partial to the concept of a media sharing folder. Insofar as that would pertain to music, anyway.

I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I had actually gone to Maggie May's during my trip to Glasgow. You could get in there for free with a Radiohead ticket as well!
