    WWE No Way Out 2009

Anyone think they may do something to force Orton to give up his title shot and then faces Vince at Wrestlemania and if he loses he's fired? With the way the Smackdown chamber ended I wouldn't be surprised to see Taker vs HHH with the streak vs the title for the 3rd year in a row. As for Michaels? No idea.

    WWE No Way Out 2009

Who do they have as heels on Smackdown with Edge going back to Raw? Unless Raw just doesn't have a champion until after the draft when Trips goes back. Cause there's no way in hell Trips is jobbing to Orton at Wrestlemania.

    WWE No Way Out 2009

Unfuckingbelievable. This show officially sucks balls. What I can't figure out is why they would do Orton vs Trips at Wrestlemania after they went to all the trouble of setting up the Legacy only to move Orton to Smackdown.

    Your FIRST Live Show

For some reason Cawthon doesn't have the results for the first ever house show I was at. I wish he did cause I would love to be reminded. It was mid-1991 shortly after Wrestlemania VII. I only remember a few matches from the show. The main event was Hulk Hogan defending the title against Slaughter in a desert storm match. The opening matches were IRS beating Jimmy Snuka (I'm pretty sure IRS was the only heel that won that night) and Ricky Steamboat (The Dragon he was known by at the time) beating Haku. The only mid-card match I remember was the Rockers and Virgil beating the Orient Express and Mr. Fuji. The only reason I remember that match was cause I was a major Rockers mark at the time. And then there was a special "barber shop" segment that took place in the ring. Beefcake interviewed Sensational Sherri and he ended giving her an atomic drop. The last thing I remember was there were no managers whatsoever at ringside. I can't remember there being any other title matches (don't think Mr. Perfect or the Nasty Boys were there). Anyone who remembers seeing a '91 house show with a similar card, please fill me in with the rest of the card.

Christian's Re-debut in WWE has occurred!

Totally agree. Christian would have been lost in the fold right off the bat on either of the two big shows. Think about it. Smackdown: Top heels - Edge, Kozlov, Big Show, now Matt Hardy Top faces - Triple H and Jeff Hardy Raw: Heels - Orton, Jericho, JBL Faces - Cena, Michaels, Punk Obviously Christian needed to make his return someplace where the spotlight could be on him so he could shine. ECW loses Matt Hardy but gains Christian? Works for me.

    WWE Raw - February 2, 2009

Anyone else thinking that Steph is baiting Shane? Think about it. She has Orton punt Vince's ass out of commission. But remember, she still has big brother to worry about. So she calls Shane-O Mac in, he gets killed in the no holds barred match at No Way Out, and she stands alone as head of Raw and co-leader of the Legacy. BTW, I was at Raw in Cleveland last week. Save for the pretty good Cena/Michaels match last week, I'm already wishing they were here tonight instead!

    2009 PPV Prediction Contest

Man, I changed my mind on those bonus questions so many times before posting my final decisions. I'm just surprised the WWE would put so much cannon foddder in this year when jobbers have been left out in the past for more star power. RVD was one hell of a surprise. But why are they holding up Umaga's return? And wow, so much star power going in early. And I'll bet nobody expected half of the people to be left when #30 entered.

Lets talk about: ECW on TNN

There has been some talk in this thread about if RVD won the World title then gave up the TV title then they could have a tournament for the vacant belt. For those of you who argue that ECW didn't have the talent to pull off a tournament, remember that when RVD got hurt and had to give up the belt they ended up having a tournament anyway. Plus, about holding two singles titles at the same time, I know this was the night ECW folded but Rhino was the TV champion then won the World title to become the last champion of both belts.

How did you get into wrestling?

When I was 7 years old (1990) my dad asked me one night if I wanted to watch a video called Hulk Hogan vs the Ultimate Warrior. I don't remember how he explained it or if I even knew what professional wrestling was before then. I just recognized the names. So he puts on the tape (Wrestlemania 6 of course), I see all these random matches and I have no idea what it's all about. So my dad has me watch the entire show and then eventually introduces me to the weekend TV shows like Superstars and Challenge. Sometime after Royal Rumble '91, I find out that my aunt has every PPV from Summerslam '88 until then on tape (illegal black box to get PPV). My dad borrows them from her, I eventually watch them all, I get my dad to order Wrestlemania VII, and the rest is history. I now have all of those tapes plus many others from later years in my possession. I still watch them from time to time.

    Armchair Bookers: The "WWF Horsemen"...

My first thoughts for this were also Dibiase/IRS since they'd be Money Inc. anyway. As for the 4th guy, I like the Martel idea. But if an enforcer really is needed, then I suppose the Bossman heel turn is a good one since Sid seemed to be too high on the WWF superstar totem pole to fill that role.

    Impact Spoilers for 7/24

Did I fall asleep during this or did the Lethal/Petey match not even air? And does anyone see a possible connection between these two? From what I understand, one of the characters Abyss used to play on the indy circuit was someone by the name of Prince Justice. He didn't wear a mask and talked a lot (apparently he's pretty charismatic). Think about it. He comes out of the asylum with a fear of using weapons, but he's still running around like a hero helping random people. The Prince Justice Brotherhood are pseudo superheroes, trying to rid TNA of all the injustice. I'm thinking this will all eventually come together with the brotherhood in the ring one night. They'll introduce Prince Justice, Abyss will come out and lose the mask and he'll cut a promo. It'll be wrestlecrap at its finest, but at least all of it will finally make some sort of sense.

    Who were champions

God am I stupid! Hogan's been champion so many damn times that I forgot he wasn't even champion when I started watching right before Royal Rumble '91! Also, I totally forgot that Beautiful Bobby was still recognized as the TV champion on that Clash show, even though Austin beat him at a TV taping before then. So, here are my edited champs: WWF - January 1991 World - Ultimate Warrior Intercontinental - Mr. Perfect Tag Team - Hart Foundation WCW - Clash of Champions 15 World - Ric Flair U.S. - Lex Luger TV - Beautiful Bobby Tag Team - Steiners U.S. Tag Team - Freebirds Six Man - Freebirds
