what sold that match for me was the anklelock sequence at the end. too many times, wrestlers just tap out to the anklelock about 30 seconds into it. in this match, jannetty tried so many times to get out, succeeding once, and when angle held on towards the end, jannetty kept fighting it and you knew that when he finally did tap it was after he had tried everything he could to get out of it... jannetty sold the match extremely well and both wrestlers told a great story. sign jannetty now, that was awesome!

oh i completely agree that it can help a match's anticipation... but it has been done so many times it's ridiculous.

this "challenger can't touch the champion until the match occurs" thing is getting very very old. can't the writers think of anything better???

I would assume that velocity and heat this week will be studio recap shows. They will NOT pull out the expensive live production equipment for the weekend shows.
