You are correct. It is a strange scheduling issue as the games in Tokyo do count, but they resume the exhibition season when they return. I think this is being done to help the two teams avoid being jet-lagged to start the season.

I've decided to stay out of this because there are few posters that I truly dislike and they've been railed on enough the past few days. I must say that I was mildly surprised that so many people dislike me as a poster as well. Not sure what I've done to draw the ire of those posters.

I sort of follow that logic. I contribute a little bit to the sports folders, but I'm mostly a dick everywhere else. I'm sure if the WWE Folder guys were having a worst poster tournament and someone showed them the "Sucks Dick" thread I might garner a few votes. If you are "established" or well-known your fuck-ups are more noticeable. A guy like dustinbeaverton, however, can fade into oblivion.

OMG, the "my favorite team won/lost a game" has already started and it's not even March yet.

The March 29th exhibition game between the Dodgers and Red Sox is expected to draw about 115,000 fans, which will break the baseball attendance recored by more than 20,000. Incidentally, the Sox should feel right at home with the layout of the field as they are erecting a 62 foot high fence in left field as it is only 200 feet from home plate down the line.
