One of my friends's girlfriend is an elementary education major. She's taking a 300-level English class this semester and I somehow got roped into editing her final paper. For the most part it was everything I expected: rudimentary/awkward sentence construction, poorly structured arguments, a lack of solid textual support, &c. A little irritating, but no big deal, really. Then I came across this doozy: lol?
