What percentage of the WWE roster do you enjoy..
natey2k4 replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
Smackdown - 22 RAW - 25 53% However, I counted *most* of the divas. And I only enjoy seeing them for the most part, during non wrestling segments.. and segments that arent pointless(which doesnt happen often). Molly, Victoria, and Trish are about the only ones I enjoy watching wrestle. The number would probably down around 30% not including divas. -
1. Bret Hart 2. AJ Styles 3. Paul London 4. Shawn Michaels 5. Petey Williams 6. Curt Hennig 7. Chris Sabin 8. Ric Flair 9. Chris Benoit 10. Alex Wright 11. Raven 12. Owen Hart 13. Marty Jannetty 14. Looks like an amazing card. Only disappointment is Jack Evans is nowhere to be seen.. hopefully he's on the show someplace though.

WCW: The Essential "Must Have" List
natey2k4 replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
Alright.. Jean-Paul Levesque(Triple H) vs Alex Wright from Starrcade 1994 -- Some consider it a good match for two rookies, and I tend to agree. Not a **** classic but for two rookies it was very good. Plus it has Triple H busting out a Leg Lariat.. no joke. Oh and Triple H also jobs;) lol. Ricky Steamboat vs Brian Pillman from Halloween Havoc 1992 -- Very good match.. just has to be included. Both guys are just awesome. Ricky Steamboat vs Steve Austin from.. DAMN! I don't quite remember which PPV.. it was 94.. maybe Spring Stampede or Uncensored or something. VERY good match.. it went about 30 minutes I believe.. maybe longer. Brian Pillman vs Alex Wright from Great American Bash 1995 -- One of Wright's best matches ever. Some nice counters and decent mat work. Very good match. Rey vs Ultimo from World War 3 1996 -- One of the best matches ever to grace a WCW ring, nuff said. Alex Wright vs Ultimo from Fall Brawl 1997 -- Because of the Guerrero/Jericho match being so good.. this match tends to get very overlooked. Almost a **** match, do add it. The Boogie Knights(Wright/Disco) vs Natural Born Thrillers(Jindrak/O'Haire) vs The Filthy Animals (Rey/Kidman) from Halloween Havoc 2000 -- Probably the best non full cruiserweight match between the last year or so. Only about 12 minutes, but as I said... if you want something good thats not just cruiserweights during the final 6 months of WCW... this is the match. Yourself and Loss seem to have said just about everything else I would of added. -
Suprising moves that a wrestler has used.
natey2k4 replied to DangerousDamon's topic in General Wrestling
Not sure if this was said but... Chris Benoit's Powerbomb to Eddie Guerrero on a Nitro in 1996... I thought Eddie was dead..and I think the crowd did as well. Another would be Paul London's dropsault on one guy, landing with a moonsault on another guy on the ground. Unbelieveable. the First time I seen Shawn Michaels vs Razor.. I was just wowed. So many moves I was just like my god.. cuz I was little. -
I'd put my money on Christian not taking Roids.

Are you kidden me? The Ultimate X Match was around *** 1/2, Styles vs Williams was around ***1/2, and William vs Sabin put on a **** match at the PPV along with a few **** matches back in BCW with Amazing N8, Chris Sabin, among others. It's not like Williams has been around all that long, and all I can pretty much say to you is.. if you wanna take RVD or even Mysterio of Petey, you really are one of Vince's little toys. And man, it's okay do as you please.. but to comment how Williams ain't good.. is REALLY funny. You judge a wrestler by their finisher? He's not good because you dont like his finisher? If we looked at most "Cruiserweight" style moves.. most of them ARE unbelievable... and if you one of these morons that wants to see the Cruiserweights die.. it really backs up the moron part nicely. Oh wow.. so because a promotion uses a Six-Sided ring it makes their matches bad. Matches cant be above ** when you have a Six-Sided ring.. that moron point I made, is being backed up nicely here. Watch Turning Point.. and then you can just eat all those stupid quotes you made.

WWE to tape Raw and SD back-to-back
natey2k4 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
That happened back in March, remember? Triple H vs. Eddie Guerrrrrrrrero? Hunter wasn't Raw Champion when that match happened. And that match and ending got over huge with the live crowd, hence why they should do it again for the live crowd, so they might want to sit through a 4hr taping. 4 hour? They gotta put Velocity and Heat with it too ma man! -
What's the worst WCW Nitro Ever?
natey2k4 replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
Does anyone remember the show where the ME was... PRINCE IAUKEA VS ULTIMO DRAGON.. what the hell!!! lol -
I'm not sure when it's from.. but I have that match on my computer. Very good match. (Orton/Venis)
-
Benoit I could see being a World Champion again.. Even in the near future (2005)... As for Eddie.. I dont see him being a Champ anytime soon.
-
La Resistance vs Edge/Benoit was an AWESOME match (where La Resistance beat them for the belts) ***3/4 or so for that TV match.
-
Looks like two VERY GOOD shows... no more meaningless squashes really. The Gilbertti squash, while still a squash, means a bit more then squashing some no name jobber, that most of us never heard of. HOWEVER, Petey Williams only begin on one show for a split minute, isn't appealing to me... but I cant blame them either I guess... FOX SPORTS... GIVE TNA A TWO HOUR TIMESLOT... THEY DESERVE IT!
-
They've cut down too matches... and No way the first X-Division Math gets 26:00 mintues like the last one. Although I have a feeling TNA will add another match.. but I doubt there will be a big Pipers Pit segment too. The Matches should get more time.. and I'll all for Sabin/Williams getting 20+ minutes.
-
Stevie Richards also go to stay into the final 6. Christian? Nope. Flair? Nope. Snitsky? Nope. Maven? Nope. Regal? Nope. Eugene? Nope. He outlasted them all.. and that'll look good for him. You know if Vince didn't say what he said about Richards, Stevie would of been gone well before any of those guys I listed above.
-
Say what you want, but I for one... DO NOT mind having Ric Flair still on my television screen Monday nights.
-
Then why not have him do a dark match? That's a lot easier to ignore than actually appearing on WWE television, no matter how many/few people watched. Are you joking? Making him do a dark match would REALLY piss off alot of the smarks. You'd have a million threads "WHAT THE FUCK, LONDON ISN'T EVEN GOOD ENOUGH FOR VELOCITY ANYMORE?!" And don't say they wouldnt, because alot of them would. London is one of my favourite wrestlers, and has been for over 2 years. But still, I would rather have him losing on Velocity in a warm-up match, so I get to see him rather then him fighting a dark match, which I cant watch.

Too Bad I hardly remember Flair jobbing to Rico. Flair is still able to give some younger stars good rubs, and he is still great at cutting promos and just being there. I still mark out when I see him. Flair was in no way the greatest wrestler of all time, he's matches were really repeatitive, but usually still very entertaining. However, there are much better wrestlers, like Benoit. Flair, in my honest opinion will always be remembered as one of the greats. There are few greats in the business, but Flair was great both in the ring and on the mic. He is not pissing away his legacy, to be pissing away his legacy he would be A World Champion right now, when he in no way deserves it(other than a 1 night reign maybe to give him final respects before retiring as Champion, and putting the belt in a tournament or something). Right now he is helping future stars, and still being very entertaining.
