read the pirate's posts out loud. they're infinitely more entertaining. and the ms paint sig is hilarious. someone told me that not too long ago there was an official, national talk like a pirate day.

yeah, the big problem would be actually getting a dvd burner. they're kind of expensive.

velvet underground - "she's my best friend"

i've heard some good things about it, but not enough to actively seek it out. i may give it a look once it's out of the new release section. and your taste in aphex twin pictures is very disturbing.

actually, it makes more sense to me that the more times you do the move, the harder it is to get out of. if you've already been dropped on your head 4 times, shouldn't it be harder to get the strength, speed & coordination to counter than the first time you got dropped on your head? Shouldn't Austin's neck been broken after 10 of them? of course. austin should've been DEAD after 10 german suplexes, that was a huge problem i had with the match.
-
since we're apparently getting bret/angle, it should deliver.
-
yeah, this is quite the big cocktease. at this point, even if such a match WERE to take place, it would likely suck. not only did bret have a STROKE, he hasn't wrestled in over 3 years. even if he still does have that great sense of timing & storytelling, he wouldn't have the stamina or the endurance to have a good-paced 20+ minute match.

maybe he just likes perry's cock.

'birth of the cool' is my favorite title ever. 'sgt pepper's lonely hearts club band' of course deserves a mention. for some reason i love 'in utero'. 'running with scissors' always brings a smile to my face.

if it makes you feel any better, i got turned down in a BIG way by my own parallel "fucked up life" girl. she refuses to talk to me now.

godfather was better than kane.

i must say i'm digging the new sig/avatar persona of johnson. he and dawn need to get together.

cloves are basically cigarettes for pussies. goth kids love them so much because a) they're black (at least the djariums that the goth kids love so much are), and b) you don't have to inhale them. so you look cool and aren't really, you know, smoking anything. i fell in with this crowd a few years ago, and it became a semi-habit. now i'll smoke a clove from time to time when i'm around my friends who smoke, or when i'm studying for exams & need a quick break.

i didn't say it was impossible to top 'y kant tori read', i just said it was hard.

for comedy value, it's hard to top... originally a picture here, but it's way too big

massive attack - 'mezzanine'. my new favorite album to go to sleep to.

I can understand liking the films, but to call this guy a great director is stretching it alittle. He HONESTLY can't frame a shot, AT ALL. For another exceptional Larry Clark film, check out "I was a Teenaged Caveman" Hilarity will ensue. dude, he has professional people working for him. it's not like his DP is some 15-year-old kid just putting the camera where he's told to. his DP knows what he's doing, everything he shoots is shot that way on purpose. saying you don't like the way he frames a shot is fine, but don't make a blanket claim like "he CAN'T frame a shot." that's just stupid. it's like if we were having a discussion about martin scorsese and you were trying to prove he was a bad director by saying "look, he made 'bloody mama!'" then why do so few people get it right?

dammit, where's 'ulysses'? that shit set the standard for banned books in america. although, i guess teachers should really have no fear that any student would actually want to read it.

outkast - "the way you move" i could swear there's a sample from "can't stop killing you" by kristy maccoll in it, where the little acoustic guitar lick is.

dialogue like that is harder to write than shakespeare-type dialogue. it's VERY hard to make it seem real and immediate. and for the record, the dialogue of 'requiem for a dream' sucked.

The finals months of the year are upon us

'lost in translation' and 'kill bill'. i think those are the only 2 i'm genuinely excited about seeing. -
By gimmick poster I take it you mean ending/starting each post with a certain line/phrase? Well then hell yeah I could do that! Or maybe I can say "Where are my popsicles?", or even "Commence to jigglin'!" Also, another Emmy note: Hey Wanda Sykes and George Lopez! Guess what? Dave Chappelle and Carlos Mencia are a lot funnier than you. nope. by gimmick poster i mean only there for our amusement, offering no content at all. "do what now?" would have to be ALL you said.

meatwad could've been a great gimmick poster, just going from thread to thread and saying "do what now?"
