I just thought about it, and changed the rules to not only include clothing. Shop sellin everythin'. Well, everything that a thrift shop would sell. Well, mostly clothing.

I explained the game in the first post, I just wanted to make sure I got the first 5 posts in the thread to update the players lists first.

Okay, here's how the game works. I am a thrift shop owner, you are the shoppers. I will update the thread every once and awhile, probably a couple of times a day on average, with new items. Anybody who is not a shopper can take part in the game by donating to the shop, aka PMing me anything they want me to put in the shop, and if it's not stupid I'll use it. I will price each item and each player will start out with $50 to shop, you can purchase whatever you want at any time (There's no turn order) until you run out of money. Items posted stay active until purchased. For purposes of the game, we assume that all items are in good condition and there is no sales tax. Game will run until Febuary 1st or everybody has run out of money. I will keep track of your inventory with pictures (like with the comic book draft) and at the end everyone will rank the other players via PM to me to determine a winner. Well, I don't know if this will catch on or not but I think it could be fun. First 10 people to sign up are our shoppers.

I have a friend who used to post here (I sat beside him in computer class, and copied the URL which is how I got here), and he doesn't post anymore but keeps up with the boards ongoings. Maybe he's someone like that, who just lurked for years and then decided to start posting again.

I'd believe it if he came in as some early 20s badass batman copycat (Wearing the Robin costume), who kept showing up to the same crime scenes batman did trying to catch the bad guys, and Batman keeps telling him to go home and leave it to the professionals. Maybe then one time Batman is in trouble and Robin shows up and makes the save, so Batman decides to take him on as his partner. But they'd probably have to spend the whole movie setting that up, and having Robin make the save near the end, so he wouldn't be a prominant character until the next movie.

As for Carey sounding like he was "watching paint dry", I think the tone in his voice was more exciting/better than if he would have jumped up and down yelling, "HE GOT IT RIGHT ON THE NOSE!!!!", which would have just been annoying. The voice he used was like, holy shit you made the perfect bid. Good show, sir.

I really hate when people post porn in a thread. What's it supposed to mean? That you don't like the thread? It's not funny and serves no purpose. The first thread where it all started, and people posted a bunch of porn in somebody's shitty thread would have been funny. It's not anymore. Which brings up a good question - Where did posting porn in a thread you don't like all begin? Edit: Okay, hate is a strong word. I guess I meant to say I just don't get it.
